She said that, to this day (or at the time of the interview) that she has a relationship with her biological parents. I don't know if it's on YouTube. But, she said that she did. So, they are not dead. At least not at the time when Lionel took her in.
Although I'm not a fan of hers, Nicole really has grown up and matured. If you look at her behavior back when she was partying with Paris, it's like she was a completely different person.
