  • I was wondering what soldering iron do you use. I was looking at one in walmart that does 30 watts for only 5$ but I want to make sure what I get is good. So I was just wondering what soldering iron do you use.

  • @halo001 the one i use now is a 30watt Weller soldering iron! top of the line.. i think! :-)

  • Get a Heathkit scope. They can be had for under $100.00. They are cheap and work very well!!! I wish i still had my heath SB 614 scope.

    As far as books all i have are ham radio books but i DO have a couple of CB books but they are out dated.

  • @radionut63 Ok, I see there's some free computer oscilloscope programs that will work with audio frequencies, about less than 20Khz. In my latest video about laser communication you can see one of those. I had a real oscilloscope once, I think it was 20Mhz, very useful..
