I first heard this on the Dunhill Compact Classics CD "Beachbeat Shaggin'," which includes 20 tracks from teh Carolina Beach Music era and was released in the wake of the Phoebe Cates movie "Shag." I grew up in Massachusetts and California in the 70s, and knew nothing of teh Carolina Beach scene. But I am in total agreement...THIS is the crown jewel, and this specific recording (the same one on my CD). I've heard other recordings of the song by The Tymes, but THIS is the one.
