i first saw this movie as a kid and just remembred this song. this i s a great tune, great music and great melody but I must say that i don't love her voice now that i got older. maybe a healthy Whitney Houston from back in the day could pull this off, her style kind of matches this song.
The look on Heidi's face (on the left) at about 0:53 as she's looking at Max is like "Uhh...yeah."
Speaking of Heidi, I first saw her portrayer, the late Deborah Baltzell, as a regular on the short-lived 1980-81 sitcom I'm a Big Girl Now, so seeing her again here brings back some memories.
