I agree Relativity2 that original content is the way to go :) Amazingly, many people will take every shortcut they can and buy the newest software to put content on there website...granted some of the software is helpful, but most of the Internet Marketers I learned from in the past do things that are going to get them de-indexed in Google. I look at it this way, you do it right the first time, you won't have that long road back to correct everything the gurus taught you.

You are absolutely right! I did almost what you recommended with regards to high quality original content...and nothing else...and still, my video's and Blogs are all on the first page, or number 1!

Recently, to test this, I created a blog on the blogger platform...

I also created a Youtube video of that same title; both are presently enjoying first page status...and within hours for the video, and by the next day for my blog!

How do I add a link or email blast to let me followers of those who I went to automatically let my followers and others who've subscribed to my blog let them know I've added a new blog? That would be a great feature but I can't figure out what gadget does that. Some people would want to know when my blog is updated yet not necessary follow me but want to put in their emails to get notices not necessarily follow. Thanks!

@reginammp AS far as email blast capabilities go, no gadgets exist. You could set up an aweber account but that carries a monthly fee. If you just want a feature that lets people subscribe via email and updates them based upon what you post on your blog then set up Feedburner and there is a "subscribe by email" function included there. yeah like everybody says, it's not an overnight process.
