This is really excellent. It's not easy - in fact it's damn hard - to play accompanied by a synthetic rhythm section.

What I also liked is that the extemporisation was bang on key all the way through and the playing style is so unfussy, unshowy and economical. All the effort is going on in the brain - which means the fingers don't need to do much more than play - and they do that very neatly indeed.
