I friend of mine tried this on Halloween, he acquired a scythe and a black robe, made his way to the retirement home, only to find the area guarded by police to stop being doing exactly that.
If there is an anthropormorphic personificaton of Death, I really hope he is something like the Death of the Discowrld. We could go for a curry before I went into the great beyond.
Dressing up as Death and scaring the shit out of old people is cruel as hell but it's hilarious. I did it a few halloweens ago. Bought a real scythe as part of it (it's amazing what you can buy online if you look hard enough). Being only 2 inches shorter than the 7ft the Grim Reaper is sometimes portrayed as being helps a lot.
@giygasattack You might accuse me of being a hillbilly, but I know my father had at least one scythe. Probably have it somewhere in the barn still. And I know for a fact my grandfather owns one. Rather rusty-looking, not sure if that's good or not when playing death...
@RemusChocolade If I have to accuse you of being a hillbilly because one or two of your family members owns a scythe then I have to call myself an even bigger hillbilly since I own one myself. Don't think it makes a difference whether your scythe is rusty or not but it probably looks cooler as part of a Grim Reaper costume if it is.
@giygasattack My point was kinda that a scythe has other purposes than dressing up as death, although it does double nicely. I've never quite been known to make much sense, though.
So... that means he pulled the prank two times, killed two people... and decided to have a third go?

@richieblackhearted Gahhh!! Discworld, not Discowrld. But the platform wearing, glitter gladded Death would be quite a nice exchange.
