I lived at this truck stop for 3 days one time, Lodi sucks. I seen a Swift truck once in Montana/Wyoming, he missed the scales so they sent up the spikes and all is tires were flat and he was on the side of the road waiting for DOT.

Swift is nicknamed "Sure Wish I Finished Training" and for a good reason... They have a very high turn over rate, and a big percentage of their drivers and fresh out of driving school. With the large amount of novice drivers they have lot's of accidents and do stupid things.

Most Swift trucks will avoid backing at all cost. When that lot gets full,the last slots are way in the back,and you have to back in.

you dont have to be 21 in all states. I know hawaii requires cdl drivers to be 21 and most states won't let you drive out of the state which you have a cdl if you aren't 21. I don't turn 21 for about 20 more days, but I've had my CDL for almost a year and a half.

In most states you can get your CDL at 18 and drive intrastate. To drive interstate you just be at least 21, DOT regulations, if your company is sending you across statelines, you need to find a new company before DOT grabs you.

It's more about insurance than legal age requirements. Alot of insurance companies won't touch a driver under 25, and the rest will rape you on the rates. So most companies won't hire new drivers under certain ages.
