You can't just say they're like KoL cause they came from a similar place, have the same instrumentation and are a type of rock. You have to actually listen to the music, and it's not very similar.

Went to see KOL last night in Manchester. MONA were supporting. Honestly, I thought that MONA are better live than they are recorded so fair play.

KOL were as per usual just amazing and I think that MONA must have done something right to land that gig!!!

Similar styles of music and both great bands, just at different levels of success.

I have every KOL album and I'm a huge fan of their music.

I After seeing MONA perform last night, I'll be buying their albums now too.

I love this song and this guys! Everyone who wants to compare them with Kings of Leon doesn`t know anything about the past of the Kings! Their roots are the stoner Rock/ Country Music and the music they make since Only by the Night is just comercial... I don`t want to say"shit" but some kind of this! It`s not their Origin!

But all i wanted to say is, that I love MONA and her Music! And actually also the Kings of Leon ;)

If Kings of Leon came out with Only by the Night and Come around Sundown and the cd's didn't become commercially popular, everyone would still think they are unbelievable and everyone would say "look how much they've grown". But because more people like them, it's like it's not "cool" to listen to them anymore. The same thing will happen to Mona, they will get commercially famous and then all of sudden the hipsters will think they sold out.

I live in Dayton, Ohio, where Mona comes from originally. I used to see them play small bars and battle-of-the-bands competitions all the time. They were something special even back then... we all knew they were going to be big. They have an uncommon intensity on stage. Great all around guys, too.

I think their days of playing intimate, small-venue shows are well gone now, but all of us in Dayton are looking forward to their tour with KoL. Glad to see their years of dedication pay off.

These look a good prospect but I wish people would stop using the internet and youtube as a platform to slag off Kings of Leon, claiming that they have sold out. Yes, they have become more commercialised but mainly though a couple of songs which Caleb only wrote because of limitations to his guitar playing following a finger injury. KoL have produced 5 very good albums, some better than others but I think it's just indie snobbery to suggest that they are suddenly shit.
