  • Fantastic!

  • @monosound81 thanks :)

  • Yea, this is very good! :)

  • this amp is very midrange-y and with my ts9 it doesn't compliment my lp very nicely at all, it'd be better if i was to run a nice compressor with this baby here

  • just bought mine yesterday. wonderful sounding little amp. i can't stop practicing now.

  • nice playing

  • @SparcoC4 thank you

  • What size is the speaker?

  • @analogalien this one is the 10" speaker

  • @rafport

is it possible to put 12" speaker in this box?

  • @TonyGognitti no, i think it is a miracule they reach to fit a 10" inside as it is very small! i was thinking about try another speaker, but space is so small i fear a bigger magnet or a different speaker shape (even 10") wound not fit inside. it has an external speaker jack, only 16 ohm unfortunately. i tried with a 12" celestion alnico blue, tons of bass and brillance (the ac4 is oriented mostly on mids), nice tones, but i think even stock speaker do their job

  • @analogalien Thanks. It's got a great sound. Very impressive!

  • great tone man, i have an ad50vt great sound and lots of versatility. the ac4 is a one trick pony, but it does that trick, very, very well.

  • @aw350meman69 tricky pony, a very good definition for this amp! :) is just like that. thank for posting!

  • btw what does W stand for?

  • look when i turn the tone knob ( on the guitar) only the metal voice gets higher, stronger. but i dont notice a change in voice exept when i turn it directly from 0 to 10 thx anyways

  • @rrghate43 maybe you've some problem in your guitar. have you tried it with another amp? you have this tone with any pickup?

  • btw i dont have a tone knob on my yamaha amp i have : bass-middle-treble-volume (for the clean)-volume ( for the desortion )-gain.

those are all the knobs on my amp as for my guitar i have: volume-tone-pickups thx if u try to aid me i really apreciate it

  • @rrghate43 sure the tone should change, in the AC4 you get just one knob who go from a dark tone (no highs) to a sparkle one (lot of highs). this kind of amp has plenty of mids, but absolutely you should ear difference if you change the tone knob on the vox amp. if you mean the tone knob on your guitar, it should work too. maybe if you close all tone on guitar you cant ear enough difference on the vox becase there are no highs to boost or cut. let me know i'm here for suggestion :)

  • (the tone knob on the guitar)

  • HELP! i have this tone thing ( i turn it to change my guitar tone) but its not changing the tone any help?! plz plz HELPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @rrghate43 i miss your question :) please explain me better the problem, if i can i try to aid you

  • @rafport i have either a yamaha rgz 321p or yamaha 611m ( sorry im a kid i got that guitar for my bday) anyways when i turn the tone knob the tone won't change its still the same sound. Its suposed to change the tone right? so y isnt it doing that?

  • I'm trying to decide between a louder Vox VT amp, or the AC4TV... I love the tone of the AC4TV but the VT would be loud enough to gig with.

Do you think the AC4TV is loud enough to gig with if it was mic'd? Or would the drums and bass amp just drown it out completely?

  • @damienl valvetronix tone is far, far away from this one (i tried a lot of valvetronix amps in past, when i "caught" on this ac4). volume is louder you can expect from a such little and light amp, but you cant expect miracle. i play with a jazz trio and is louder enough, but the drum hit soft. you need also to ground it, because if you put higher you miss almost all bass effect. consider also you crank it all time, so you cant have clean tones at volume with this baby (i love for this too)

  • Thanks for replying!

I bought the AC4TV. It may be quiet, but I just decided that it would be better to get a good sounding amp instead of one that was loud but not as good sounding. I can always try mic'ing it into the PA, or just saving up for a louder amp in the future!

  • good buy :) tone is important than volume, and with time i ever apreciating my little vox. it is small but is a real tube amp, and with a mic is not worst than other amp i own who cost several time the price of the vox

  • Best demo of this little guy I've heard yet.Thankyou!

  • very kind, thank you for visit my video :)

  • Your playing and revies are OUTSTANDING!

How woukd this amp sound if you use an Rat2 distorsion pedal or an Vox Bulldog distorsion?

  • thank you. i miss this 2 pedals, but i tried lot of overdrive, distortion and boost pedal on this vox (for ex tubedrive, a pair of tube screamer, dod malmsteen distortion, boss sd1 and ds1 and some others), and all play really good. power tube stage saturated easily so every pedal in front of this will change heavily tone. is a good amp for pedals:)

  • rafport thany for the answer.

One more: Could AC4 be pluged to external cabinet and make it sound louder then 4W?

    p.s. You like Zeppelin maybe?Hear lot of WhiteSummer/BlackMountainSide ;-)

  • yes, it has the speaker output, but there is not impedance selector... it is 16ohm but i'm not sure, i should check (you find easily on vox website on specs). yes i like zeppelin and this les paul has a great vintage rock tone :)

  • Thank you for this video.Good audio !!! It's a great amp for its price. I have to decide to go for the head/cabinet version or the combo version but unfortunaly we have not a shop to compare them. Can you tell me the difference in your point of view ? Sorry about my bad english ! Keep up the good work !!

  • the head/cab version has more bass and headroom, this one break up easily at low volume but miss some basses respect higher cab/speaker version. anyway difference in price from head and this one is very small, you can buy the 10" combo and buy ina second time (o build yourself) a cab to add, for the difference in price and weight it seem the best buy to do

  • really cool and cool playing bro!

  • thanks :)

  • i remove all offensive thread, thank for kind people who "defend" me, but i prefer avoid to show those idiot posts on my page, i'm sure they'll understand.

  • awesome

  • thank you :)

  • This sounds great when I used one of my guitars in this it didn't sound very good to me! But I will probably try it out again sometime! Check out littlse lanilei amp the 1/4 and such on the web and youtube! -PK
