As a lifelong democrat, I am highly disappointed by them over the last year. They cave in to everything Bush and his cronies want, but get nothing in return, and because they have no balls ( except Kucinich ), I am not voting for any dem candidate in '08.
I don't have anything against Gravel, but I am sure he'll be knocked out before Feb 5th because the media and corporations are against him running ( likewise Kucinich ) and even especially Paul who is the only repub with some sense.
As a lifelong Democrat you should be intelligent enough to realize that they don't have a veto-proof majority, or enough of a majority in the congress to fully control things in the House or Senate. They aren't perfect but they're doing what they can. Wake up.
I am well aware of the repubs that are filibustering their votes, but you can't tell me that Pelosi and Reid are sticking to their guns they promised in Nov '06. If they were doing everything they could, they would simply stop the funding for the Iraq mess, but no, Pelosi and Reid bend over to let Bush stick it to them, all without any vaseline.
So your are going to vote for McCain? who wants this bloodbath in Iraq to go on for 100more years, I'm not happy with the Dems either, but if the Repubs get in the counts are gone, corporations will rule the world more than they do now. Halliburton stock is up 300%, but, if McCain gets in it will go up 500%, we need to change the whole corrupt system, starting with the voting machines, but, under the nasty old men party, we don't have much left of our liberties, we need to fight for change.
The Iowa caucus results were tallied in 2004 by a company that is headed by a man whose company was bought by Elron Electronics, the Israeli defense firm. I suspect that it will be the same this year. Don't expect to see any grassroots political activists doing the tally in Iowa. The Israeli defense establishment takes care of that part of the American "democratic" election process.

The Democrats are our only hope for the return of some sanity. They're not perfect, but at least they can restore some balance

Is it just me, or does his upper lip look like Jack Nicholson's as the joker in those Batman movies?
