@Markitos203 Its probably the safest mix of all flashpowders. It needs a spark to ignite. Now if I'd add a third chemical like magnesium yes I'll get a way bigger boom but the mix becomes unstable working with it. So thats why I just stick with aluminm an potassium best bang for the buck!!!!

My only problem to making flash salutes this large is the cost. Aluminum is very costly when you are making 400g salutes. I haven't seen the dark version shipped for anything less than 22 dollars a pound. Anyone that can afford to make salutes this large must be rich. 400 grams is a pound or so I beleive. So the cost of this firecracker was I'd say 15 bucks just for the flashp.
