OMG that American Red Dwarf was awful.. Terry Farrell as the Cat? That was an obvious play..

For the movie I think the doctor should be older late 30s to early 50s

Thanks Steve, I do agree that the writing for Doctor Who should always be kept British. I hate thinking that the movie will be American made, it would suck and possibly hurt the television show. If anything make a damn Time War movie! And yes Doctor Who and the Curse of Fatal Death with Rowan Atkinson was awesome and its actually one of my favorite Steven Moffat stories to date. :)
