@charizgr she removed that skin because it was starting to get infected and if she hadnt it would have gotten worse and worse until the wound would have opend again and could cause bad illness or even death

@charizgr They did that to make the edges uniform. They removed all the jagged and rough edges so it will be easier to stitch, with a smaller scar. Hope this helps :)
