yeah he`s definately mixed a bit of john lennon in there too,oasis were never a patch on stone roses originally hence why the went into pop/commercial mode to sell to the masses instead of writing what they believed in which explains the shit theyve churned out in the last few years.

Anyways, Noel is Oasis, and if he can't stun the world with his solo career now it would mostly be due to his time having passed.

they split because john squire is a selfish arsehole. he had it all infront of him with the stone roses and he left and formed another band called the sea horses. they have a good tune called love is the law but they were fuck all compared to the stone roses. from what i hear and from what i know it was john squire who fucked it up
