Sorry, I'm not qualified to give this kind of advice. You kneed to talk with a qualified asbestos removal company requiring the right protective clothing, advice on risks associated with surrounding properties and about disposal to a licensed landfill site. Or talk to your local authority. Hope your work goes well.
i am preparing to remove asbestos corrugated sheets from a roof the size of 11 mt x 15 mt i notice that you are using a rip saw ? considering that the old screws holding down the sheets have a oblong square sitting below the screw, can a grinder do the job since it's not in contact with the asbestos ?
Thanks for your comments. The building was a salt warehouse and so the exposed metal was subject to a lot of corrosion and the threads were poor or non existent. Some could be unthreaded. Most were cut. We tried to limit the bruising to the wood as the timbers are all to be reused when the structure is rebuilt as part of Phase 2.

All the asbestos is wrapped and sealed before being disposed of to a licensed waste disposal site.

why are you guys using a recipro saw? we unscrew the screws so theres not much dust. or we use a jimmy bar. Its a lot quicker.
