She's for the Miss Universe pageant... I was also disappointed when she was called 2nd runner up. They like this kind of girl in M.U. who has the characteristics of the people of the country she represents. In this case she looks very Filipina with that nice smile, tanned skin (brown), and can answer practically the questions not so plastic answer. Balanced beauty...

However, it's not the GMA's fault... Oh come on! Selection of judges was a mutual decision between the two camps.
