  • haha fucking tools

  • The conclusion was pretty stupid. I understand you wanted to give those 20$ to the kid, but the deal made absolutely no sense.

  • You're an amazing antitheist AND you don't use mac. You've earned yourself a fucking subscriber.

  • Lol. That's just rude.

  • Wasnt there some verse in the bible that says not to deny god infront of people or else god will deny passage into heaven. Cant remember it 100% but thats what would modivate them to not cross it out.

  • god does not put 5 cents, gave $ 50 ...

but still failed to get that article ...

    stupid ateist .... :)))

  • What? your god is just a sign?

  • What she doesn't realize is she could've crossed out god, taken the money and then ripped up the sign and make a new one. If I were homeless and someone paid me to put 'god bless' on my sign I'd do it.

  • @ManicRaider

That's because you have common sense and she doesn't. She is blinded by faith and her silly beliefs.

  • I feel so bad for that kid.

  • i don't think its right to attack God.. you can attack "Jesus" all you want but I see God as the Holy Spirit.. not a man.. and money is satan.. it has us ALL enslaved.. So.. i respect what they did..

  • @iluvlinkinparkxxx You respect someone who would refuse food for their child over a word on a sign?

    Seriously?

  • @iluvlinkinparkxxx

I see God as a mythological made up character by some dead men more than 2000 years ago. And if money is satan, what was Satan before money even existed?.

  • "It's not a fairy tail! It's a bible story!" Ummm... Isn't that the same thing?

  • It's dickish but... it's an interesting idea.

  • Comment removed

  • the homeless guy is wise, this antagonist guy is a perfect example of everything thats wrong in this world. bashing people for what they believe in? i mean come on, have some respect. the homeless man's will is stronger than that of any atheist i've ever seen

  • I absolutely love the vids man

we need more people around like you that aren't affraid to voice your opinion

  • She ripped the sign up you paid 20 bucks for...WTF!

  • @drummastikz I would, it's 20 bucks and I need to eat.

  • They are fucked, period.

  • He wasn't even asking them to give up their faith. Just simply cross a word out. If he was asking them to give up their faith for 20$ he'd be an asshole but simply crossing our a word to rewrite later for 20$ sounds reasonable to me.

  • @DTK929 I suppose.

  • This was really well done

  • Fat cunt ripped up the sign that they just gave him. Gotta love that "Christian love!"

  • "Faith is common sense." HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

  • @drummastikz If a theist offered me $20 to believe in God or do something else religious, I would absolutely take it. On second thought, I'd first negotiate and see how high I could get them to go, then I'd take the deal.

  • @placey07 fuck yeah dude! no shame in lying to make a buck or save your ass. If I lived in some theocracy, you bet I'd pretend to believe in god until I could find a way out.

  • Personally, I think it's because of the camera. People act differently when on camera since it serves as a permanent record..

  • I'm sorry but this video was just pure douche baggery on your part. I like most of the videos but this is just bullshit.

  • you shouldnt bother at all, let their god feed their kid

  • I guess even religious, homeless people can't swallow their pride. "Sorry son, you have to go hungry again tonight. My sign was more important than a meal". Fucking idiot.

  • Where do i get we come from rocks? I think you need to look into evolution a little more since its supposedly what you believe. Apparently micro organisms were formed from amino acids produced from the volcanic eruptions which formed our land. The ashes and dust settled in the ocean and "bam"... life. Thus implying life was created from non life. Look it up, then you will know who the one who should feel dumb is.

P.S. Space is stretching, not expanding, and yes they do think it was an explosion

  • If they were smart, they would've thought of him as a godsend.

  • those people are dumb lol no common sense

  • What a douche...who trys to buy someones faith. This guy is evil. 20 bucks wont change their life, i wouldnt take it either just on principle. Id beat they guys ass for being a douche and God would smile!

  • @mobiledui Can't tell if trolling, or a stupid christian...

  • @DORproductions117 Well, one thing i can tell about you is that you are young, dont know your ass from a hole in the ground and like to bash people that dont think like you do (which is how i can tell that you are young....like still in High School young) LIsten son, you will se a lot of things throughout your life that are unexplainable and you will begin to understand that life is so complex and special that no ammount of science will ever figure out the meaning of life or the origin.

  • @mobiledui Oh, humans. You never cease to amaze me.

  • @DORproductions117 I mean, why is it so hard to believe for a second that maybe something is pulling all the strings? We are the only life we can see for hundreds of thousands of light years away and we are in a universe that has no end and is ever expanding (something that is infinite expanding?) and you dont think we might be special, How about the way our eco system works and is so fine tuned and that everything is made of energy adn atoms and dna.......doesnt that shit tell you something?

  • @mobiledui It's hard to "believe" because there's no damn evidence! We're in an ever expanding universe and we're the only life? What a fucking literal waste of space. Just because something is complicated, like the stuff you named, doesn't mean there's a god. It just means we can't understand it right now. It's like when people didn't know what thunder was so they attributed it to Thor.

  • @mavs2147 . Thor was a God, throughout history people have worshiped gods or a god. Point being, throwing all religion out the window, its always been a belief that theres something else. And, why not? I mean, if you dont believe in a God or higher power, or a soul or anything like that then you're probably an evolutionist, which say that there was an explosion, things became, we evolved from rocks into what you see today. And yall wanna talk about common sense. lol

  • Comment removed

  • @mobiledui ok first off the big bang wasn't an explosion it was an expansion of space. secondly we do not believe in the big bang for it has yet to be proven. it just makes the most sense as of right now until it is proven. thirdly where the fuck do you get we came from rocks? do you even know what evolution is? try looking these things up before you post ignorant comments please. and i highly doubt you can dictate what common sense is.

  • "That doesn't make sense! You have a son!" Hilarious...

  • Social experiments are really interesting. Kind of curious to reproduce this experiment and see how the results vary or not.

  • so they only get money from begging and they wont cross out 2 words to get the money to feed their family...messed up

  • Great exercise.

Keep up the good or should I say god, work.

  • Faith is definitely not common sense

  • Comment removed

  • strange conversations :)

  • If the God I've always heard of is real and true to what Christians say, I really think he wouldn't give a shit about his name written on some piece of trash; I think he'd much rather have some of his children eat for a night than for them to have his name written down on some worthless sign. It just goes to show how little some people in this world actually think.

  • I can gaurantee that these mindless drones would take a million dollars if they knew it wasnt just a hypothetical. Greed is more powerful than their religious faith.

  • @kubush Ditto, was gonna type something like that but you did that form me. I must ask, are you god?

  • @kubush Exactly, which is evident by the end of their video when they take the money anyway

  • @kubush With the prevalence of suicide bombing in the world and so many poorly educated fundamentalists in the USA, can you be sure?

  • Funny how that piece of paper literally is her God. "I'm keeping God," as she holds the piece of paper. Sounds like worshiping false idols, no?

  • Isn't it sad how blind people are to common fucking sense?? Here you have a homeless family with a child begging for money and living in an RV yet, were so profoundly stuck on their religious beliefs they refused to cross out a mere WORD!! I was always told that "God" couldn't be seen but, was "felt" so i all actuality that lousy piece of paper was NOT "God" nor even a symbol representing "God" it was a fucking 4 letter WORD nothing more and their child has to live that way....sad, very sad!!

  • @l3oogeyman "God" is a 3 letter word. LOL. Just saying.

  • @l3oogeyman How do you argue with someone who calls faith common sense, its a difficult one

  • I feel so sorry for that child. This should be child abuse teaching your child not to think rationally and not with common sense.

  • Lol, you made a good point, and I laughed my ass off! Subscribed, Favorites, Like and friend request accepted!

  • religions are destroying our species...If it weren't for religion, we could have found cures for every disease as of yet and be so much happier...but no, people choose to believe in invisible things and be limited...

  • He should have just given them the money.

  • And the theist will spurt out Psalm 53:1 to those that see no need for gods, when it is plain to see that indoctrination + inability to take responsibility = blind fool.

  • Poor idiots..

  • this was extremely interesting, but you're missing the truth of it. If they truly believe that, it's completely logical to not accept the money. If your options are having $20 and offending God, or not taking it and pleasing God, it's completely logical to pass on the money.

What I'm curious about though, what's your response to his statement that "you're seeing with your eyes, but not your mind or heart."?

  • @bananymous1 It's impossible to see with anything other than the eyes and the mind. Basically the guy is saying he believes in a delusion, so I'm not sure what kind of response you expect.

  • @ccsmiley2 Dark matter isn't visible, nor is there concrete evidence for it, but science believes it exists. String theory hasn't been proven, believing it to be common sense based on observation (like believe in God). Love, hate, right, wrong - none of these are visible; believing actions are the product of these things is strictly faith-based (something else that isn't visible).

It takes more faith to believe in science than God.

Science: man trying to explain his own existence.

  • There is more evidence for the existence dark matter, string theory, love and hate than there is for existence of God. I will admit there is faith involved, but to equate science with God is absurd.

  • @ccsmiley2 There is zero evidence for love and hate, especially based on the standards that you would set for proof of God. If there is no absolute God or law above us, then the existence and definition of both love and hate are matters of speculation.

If you were alone on a beach and saw a sandcastle, although you couldn't prove it, it should be obvious that someone made it. The same is true of God, matter, and infinite potential outcomes. Someone made both us and everything else!

  • @YoBravaFrumAnuvaMuva Don't make me laugh. If you want to be pedantic love and hate can actually be reduced to chemical reactions in the brain. However there is absolutely no evidence of a creator or intelligent design.

  • @ccsmiley2 How narrow-minded... Love and hate are concepts and nothing more. It's philosophy 101.

Science doesn't explain how life works; it merely forms theories and models to explain observations. To say that it explains how life works is illogical, circular reasoning: Men observe and give meaning to life, calling it "science," and then claim that science explains life.

Mindless matter formed into something that lives and can understand itself. Everything is evidence of a creator!

  • @YoBravaFrumAnuvaMuva Who is narrow minded? I said that it could be reduced to physical reactions in specific areas of the brain, not that it had to. Yes, philosophers have been debating for thousands of years what it is to love, hate, or be right and wrong, so to say those concepts require more faith than belief in god is, again, absurd, even when you disregard the concrete evidence for it. Also, science does explain how life works. It's called biology, shitbrain.

  • @YoBravaFrumAnuvaMuva

You talk too much and think too little.

  • @ColdLance Ridicule is not an argument.

  • @YoBravaFrumAnuvaMuva

Wasn't attempting to argue. Was only attempting to ridicule. Your argument do suck donkey balls though and you don't understand science.

  • @YoBravaFrumAnuvaMuva

You didn't do science much did you? Philosopher? English student?

  • He doesn't realize he's being just as religious by definition as the homeless family is. He has a belief, and he doesn't have the "common sense" to give them a little money without converting them.

  • @22LtSmash He wasn't trying to convert them. He was trying to show a point.

  • @MrPooBrainHorse "Change your personal beliefs to better coincide with my own, and your life will be filled me more wealth." That was indirectly said here, and that is exactly what religions do.I understand he's trying to make a point, you are pretty ignorant for trying to point that out to me. The problem here is that his point is that of a hypocrite.

  • @22LtSmash Well it's obvious that their God wasn't helping them. So they should probably start thinking about changing their beliefs. Maybe their beliefs is a part why they ended up on the street. Thinking God will get them out.

  • Choosing a fairytale over feeding a homeless family. Christian logic FTW

  • This just showed me how it's not religion or God that's destructive, the real destructive ones are the close minded people that try to influence other people's lives.

  • I am an athiest.

This is not about God, this is about a person's values and dignity is more important than 20 dollars! If YOU are a open minded person why don't you just help the poor and accept their believes? Whyd you have to "convert" them? The reason that religion is destructive is that it makes people close minded. If athiesm harms other ppl's believe and hope, it would be as destructive as ANY other religion!

  • I'm an atheist and I'm thing that is not right, you are mocking of the people believes, and that is just wrong.

Everybody has believes that can not prove(UFO, Reptilian conspiracy, Ancient Aliens and shit like that), that is part of the human condition, we are looking for the truth and knowledge, nobody has all the truth!.

You have to give them arguments, for me was Penn and Teller-The Bible, and later youtubers like you, but this video is just wrong.

  • This is just stupid, this is not about God, but about the fact that there are simply ways a person doesn't wan't to make money.

This is pretty similer as saying that young poor women are stupid for working hard for a little money because they can easily earn a lot more in prostitution.

  • How arrogant was that fat bitch when she took the 20 $. I would have loved to slap her. Can understand now, why they are on the street begging, because they are fools. I feel bad for the child. Hope he grows up with some commonsense and turns to be lot better than his parents.

  • So did she laminate that piece of bristol board with "GOD" written on it, never letting any harm come to it and cherishing it forever?

  • Dick, perhaps, but wrong he is not.

  • Neither being too Religious Neither being too Logical is good. Find the golden middle! Do not be like any of these people. Don't. Have faith in yourself and be logical. Just sayin. In the end do what you want just don't attack other people or it will get bad for u!

  • It's a shame that people are afraid to do something simple like that,like..believing that taking the cash is selling their faith...just 3 stupid letters made by some cheap marker, and they are not willing for such a simple deal?

They are in deep shit anyway...Their god obviously just crapped on them...and they are still taking the side of their idle lord =P

Yeah...something is deeply messed up there, but that's the power of mind control.

  • Comment removed

  • How does she come so fat?

  • @IndustrialFaustXVII It's a mystery...people with less money are fat,while the rich are thin...amazing ha?

  • lol that Thuggin husky dude is the guy's wife??? whaaaa?

  • Frankly, I think you're behaving a good bit like an asshole. You know you are right saying it's a fairytale. You are the sane one. So why rub it in their faces like that? I don't like the attitude. The idea was great but I also liked the way in which they refused to accept the offer, which was when I thought you were far too pushy about it. There was no sensitivity to your approach. Straight in their faces so you could prove your point. I agree to the sad morale of the video though. Kid. Ouch.

  • It states in scripture that if you deny him or are ashamed of him, he will deny or be ashamed of you. That's probably the reason why the guy doesn't want to cross it out.

Also, he probably didn't want to after he felt he was being attacked. Would everyone want to change their mind after that? Certainly not.

  • Wow, this video is amazing!

  • He may appear as a jerk, but he does make a good point in that religion can make people sacrifice their well being in favor of what god might think of them and this is one of the major flaws with religion/s. Its quite interesting and shows good proof that this is an effect of religion, but its a bit worrying about how this portrays atheist and i can tell this is going to be used by theist to add to their list of stereotypes about atheist.

  • @ApostateOfTheDamned Isn't this being used to represent the stereotypes of Christians?

  • @Overtheheight I'd say its more to show how religion can put both you and others at risk or how to can make it much harder to survive. I wouldn't be to sure of what stereotypes it's representing, but our views may vary from each other on the meaning of the video.

  • @ApostateOfTheDamned Probably :P Oh well. Well, if a theist does happen to drag this video and use it to fight against atheism, then they aren't paying attention to the non-stereotypical ones.

  • Sorry, but you're a dick. I'm agnostic, but you aren't reasonable. Laughing at poor homeless people while you hold twenty dollars in their face? You deserve the lowest of the low you privileged cunt. Oh and nice Cosby sweater.

  • ahaha funny stuff fucking bible nuts

  • Maybe the reason they are so poor is because the fat pig women ate them out of home. Brilliant video, I heard once from an ex-Christian pastor about how when he used to be a Christian that they pretty much disregard rationality and common sense to live with their religion. Its just a summary of what that pastor said, but makes sense.

  • Mike, the husband would have totally taken the money if his wife wasn't there. I, and most of us, I'm willling to bet, feel the sorriest for that poor child. And the husband, too. Oh, btw, THAT right there, wasn't about FAITH, it was about pride. It was all over her attitude.

  • Poor guy. The husband is totally owned by his wife. His face was like, "OK, I 'll the money now, ooh nooooo she 's here!"

  • "Cross you out and you give me $20." Isn't that supposed to be a sin to threaten?

  • That woman wouldn't take 'God' off the sign for a million dollars for only one millisecond?

    Is she nuts xD?

  • I'm an atheist, and I'm on their side.

Seriously, thinking about it? That "God Bless" probably made them more money than Your $20. Denouncing God in front of a camera would probably lose them far more money than that $20. Denying they'd cross it out for a million dollars? They weren't gonna GET a million dollars. Smart move all around.

And, quite frankly, I deeply suspect if You did this in reverse, You wouldn't get an atheist to do the opposite. Silly, yes, but it IS about dignity.

    ~Sylv

  • @Sylvine Though they could have just gotten another sign, though they didn't decline the money because the fact that more religious people would give them money they did it because they felt that it was respecting gods wishes and resisting the temptations of evil. Also if i was homeless and had a family then i would change the sign to what ever was requested in order to get more money for us, my family would come first before my wants as an atheist, though i would still be an atheist.

  • @Sylvine Also no-one knows their identity or where they live, so i doubt that if they accepted the money that people would give them less. Also if they declined the money people wouldn't give them more even if it was on camera.

  • I found this video to be in poor taste. It would be one thing if it was a middle class jerk standing there, but those people really needed the money. You challenged their integrity and pride, not their faith. On a level it wasn't about god, but about keeping what dignity they felt they had left. And you bought it for 20$..

  • @TheShortStory That shouldn't mean a damn thing when you have a child to look out for.

  • I dare you to read Bhagavad Gita As It Is. Ghandi, Einstein, etc. read it daily.

Watch my favorite playlists and learn what illNnaughty are are doing to persecute. Goal to kill 3/4 world population including you. Just as Jobe had everything taken away save his divine relationship, many will be tried.

Essene Gospel of Christ ... physical manifestation of satan gets his head crushed by 2 stones by Christ. You have a parasite mask on your intro.

  • This is distasteful.

  • this reminds me of an incident re the christchurch earthquake in NZ .. an atheist group had raised money for the city and sent a cheque to the salvation army, they refused to take the money... go figure...

  • who the hell says if u dun believe in god. u worship satan? -.-

  • If I was the creator of the universe, I would certainly want her to take the money for the sign. If I was the creator of the universe I would not let my people suffer, so no need for the sign, god does not exist.

  • Love how the horizontally challenged lady walks in all smarty pants!

  • She has god but tore up " keep my family warm" What kind of god would want her and her child to go cold for a sign?

  • I hope that kid remembers this

  • I don't see how this sort of thing is going to help change anyone's mind about religion. It seems to me that these people were offended by the idea that you were taking advantage of their situation to make them to retract a statement they'd made for money. This sort of thing can only cause people to become more entrenched in their unreasonable beliefs, if only out of pride, and I don't see how that helps anyone.

  • She's got God. But she tore up the "Keep my Family Warm". You're still a jerk though.

  • She's got God. But she tore up the "Keep my Family Warm"

  • they didn`t sell out. They just sold you a sign.

They probably used your 20 bucks to make 50 more signs that say in even bigger letters GOD BLESS.

  • Im a strong atheist, but this dude is a friggin moron :S

It wasn'' t that they didn't want to cross the word God out because they are irrational, they didn't do it to keep their dignity. This so called experiment stinks.

  • I'm not sure that this video proves anything at all. This only shows that he is firm in his principles and that bribing him to take money doesnt feel right. I'm an atheist myself but I think he was right not to accept the money. If I told some gay activists to delete key terms from their slogans for money, I'm pretty sure they wouldnt go for it either - and nor should they if we are to make any progress as a society.

  • "Faith is common sense" - no more discussion necessary. They're mentally fucked up.

  • I think their sense of dignity was taken away by doing that, not so much the belief that Satan is tempting them ( which is dumb). Just feels wrong to me and the guy is a douche

  • This guy is such an ass. I like him

  • Wow. They literally traded a sign saying "Help keep my family warm" for one saying "God"...

  • HAHAHA!!! "all i have to say is that they're miserable beings for not accepting him" says the HOMELESS guy...

  • im not taking a side but did she say it doesnt matter if you go to hell? so if you take the 20 and go to hell is she not saying that that doesnt matter?

  • Why do these guys need money anyway they have God doesn't he solve everyone's problems? He calls Jesus his lord and savior yet where is Jesus while his family goes hungry? These are an example of the people who will never change no matter how much evidence you pile in front of them they'll just shake their head, cover their ears, and go "I'M NOT LISTENING". I guess when all you have left is the belief that god will turn your life around rationality doesn't really matter.

  • Even if there was a God, I think he would understand if you had to feed your kid

  • @vaultbull706 To deny any amount of money to "Defend god's ego" is ridiculous. I guess denying her kid the money needed to keep him from starving is just an afterthought seeing as how she's got enough body fat to last a life time. This fat bitch needs a wake up slap.

  • Christianity: Making children suffer since 70 AD.

  • Her "God Bless" at the end was a Christians way of say "Fuck you"

  • hows $20 gonna convince them? Its easy to pass off $20. Try a $1000 see what they say.

  • "It's not a fairy tale; it's a bible story!"

  • Just give the guy the money or don't. Jesus dude.

  • @InternetArgument just take the word of the sign. jesus dude. its just one stinking word and you can use that money to feed you son man your 2-3 year old son who is out there freezing in the cold.

  • @OFswag666

So instead of helping the guy out just to be a good person it's better to use him as some sort of guinea pig to hate on religion? Seems pretty sick to me.

  • @InternetArgument what is sick to me is that these people would not take off one word from their sign. not even to feed their own child and for what? some squiggly lines which when interpreted by the brain create a word to represent some abstract meaning in this case god? one stinking word. this is the level of devotion religion demand from you. you must be willing to sacrifice your life and that of your child if needed in order to please some bronze age deity. its disgusting.

  • @OFswag666 I mean its not like their child was going to die, i mean there are government programs ect. but i do get your point. and that's not something religion requires from you its something they decided its not like God requires you to starve to death, its all a choice.

  • @Christianprotagonist "and that's not something religion requires from you" without religion they would not have seen anything wrong with taking one word off their sign. yes god does. he requires that you lay your life down on the line for him. he requires that you have faith no matter what and when you doubt he will send you to hell. it was not a choice in their mind they feel its common sense. feed your kid or stay true to your god. they chose the latter

  • @OFswag666 Christianity inst about a set of rules, Its about a relationship with God and the fact that were not perfect and he is. It about the fact that he's forgiven us for being ignorant and not wanting to believe him. Once you believe that Jesus took everything God hates that you've done, and made you pure "no one can ever snatch you out of the hand of God." Interpretation = He doesn't send you to hell once your his.

  • @Christianprotagonist You must have serious self-esteem issues.

  • I'm an unbeliever, and I appreciate the time taken to make videos critical of religion. But I have to say taking advantage of some people down on their luck to make this point seems a little callous to me. For that matter, the christians in this video don't come off all that bad. Imagine a rich christian paying a down-on-his-luck unbeliever to hold a sign thanking god for some money. I would honestly respect the unbeliever who kept his dignity and turned down the money.

  • @seethegalaxy i would do it. especially if i had my son suffering with me out in the cold. its illogical not to take the money, its just a sign with words on it just one sign that i would have to hold for what? two hours at the most? he wasn't taking advantage he was going to give them the money either way that's why he keep trying,

  • Definitely went to McDonald's.

  • How did she become so fat while being poor? Immaculate congestion? I think not.

  • @Voxnulla Check out one of Gary Taubes long lecture speeches on youtube. You'll find your answer there.

  • please rename this video: feeding your kid vs God's ego

  • @KelzLife LOL Good call on the title. I wonder if the kid, when he gets a little older, will be smart enough to realize that 'God' didn't help them NOT end up living out of a "miracle bus". Even if someone did believe in 'god', they should have enough common sense to realize that that 'god' isn't helping them... I got sick of praying to 'god', when all of my requests went unanswered. I like to think I was smart enough to wise up! (Is asking for better control of T1 Diabetes that 'selfish'?)

  • Although it may be perceived as negative, I think this an inspiring piece to truly illustrate the mindset some of these people have.

  • great video

  • This is in my opinion a little cruel, but ya it does bring up things that honestly i didn't even think would happen

  • "faith is common sense"

    Fucking FAIL!

No wonder they are homeless. They are idiots.

I feel bad for that kid.

I havn't finished the video yet so I'll say this. I hope he gives the guy the money because he needs it, but it will probably make him think: "Jesus helped me for being faithful".

Ugh! People like that just piss me off. I'd still give the bum the money though...
