If you were alone on a beach and saw a sandcastle, although you couldn't prove it, it should be obvious that someone made it. The same is true of God, matter, and infinite potential outcomes. Someone made both us and everything else!

He may appear as a jerk, but he does make a good point in that religion can make people sacrifice their well being in favor of what god might think of them and this is one of the major flaws with religion/s. Its quite interesting and shows good proof that this is an effect of religion, but its a bit worrying about how this portrays atheist and i can tell this is going to be used by theist to add to their list of stereotypes about atheist.

@Sylvine Though they could have just gotten another sign, though they didn't decline the money because the fact that more religious people would give them money they did it because they felt that it was respecting gods wishes and resisting the temptations of evil. Also if i was homeless and had a family then i would change the sign to what ever was requested in order to get more money for us, my family would come first before my wants as an atheist, though i would still be an atheist.

But I have to say taking advantage of some people down on their luck to make this point seems a little callous to me. For that matter, the christians in this video don't come off all that bad. Imagine a rich christian paying a down-on-his-luck unbeliever to hold a sign thanking god for some money. I would honestly respect the unbeliever who kept his dignity and turned down the money.
