Err, a good trick for next time is that your index finger goes between the chopsticks and holds the one closest to you, your thumb & middle finger each help to hold up a chopstick and your remaining fingers help to hold up the the chopstick furthest away from your body. If you think of it that way, it works no matter which hand you use.
