Thanks very much for posting this. It was beautifully played and very helpful but it would have been ever better with slowed down explanations of what's going on with the left and right hand. Have you ever thought of doing a lesson on Outside In? Now that would be really, really great!
Hiya pal just a response to the video and for all us jm nuttas try DAFGCE,tuned on same frets as you have but I think better for singing.thanks a lot and like your other cover make no mistake.let me know wot you think.
Mate, this is so not the tuning for Solid Air, in fact you're right, I no idea wot the tuning is either BUT... fk me is it brilliant and ive managed to pick it up, sort of, so Thank U thank u thank u for posting this and others. Peace :D
Great stuff. And *that* *is* how he played it. I spun the DVD so many times I made myself sick (the Man Upstairs video). This is a great tutorial. The tuning is an open minor 11 I think (I'll check from what youre doing at the start). I tuned to his tuning exactly on that DVD- easier than usual cos he broke the string and retuned to Bbmin11 ( = A# min11) that night. The tones are totally captured here so it must be the same tuning. "Not practiced this much", you'll mek us *all* sick saying that!
