  • Why can't PSAs like the be broadcast on American TV??

  • They should have the chorus boys and the "enough is enough" have a sing off in the middle of the road and at the end they get run over by a car.

  • They need to put these back on TV.

  • My guess is people complained about them because they were graphic, depressing or whatnot. Truth is, the only way to really get people to slow down is to scare the crap out of them and show them things like this. I guess it's like how the government makes cigarette companies put those graphic pictures on the back of the packets.

  • Notice this advert uses footage from existing Queensland Transport ads? Well, it does. It uses footage from the "Catherine" advert and the "Negatives" advert (un-negatified).

  • I've noticed that a lot of the ads from all over Australia AND New Zealand share a lot of footage with each other. It's kind of odd how they do that.

  • @astromonkey12

What is your point?? Does it fail to get the point across to people??

How dare you criticize this add when its intentions means well. What have you produced to show people a good way to live and to be careful.??

I strongly suggest you at least start on this, to provide good to the world rather than obvious negatives.

To use the weakest point is by definition a loser. You have used this cause to spread a message of disruption and hate. Fore shame man,

  • good videos pitty your descriptions blow chunks

  • Thanks... I think...

  • Hi, im a drink driver

i spent the last god knows how many years in a prison after i killed somebody at a traffic light. he was my friend. we had been partying that night. i had about 10 beers and decided to drive. I came home last week to tell all my friends the good news. most people said "Who are you?" and some others said "You killed him you bastard! Leave me alone!

So i ask you, want to join the club?

  • Jesus H. Christ... That's seriously bollocksed up mate. How old were you when all this occured?

  • I'm not giving you sympathy, but at least you're sending the right message mate good for you.

  • Thank You for your honesty Dean,

You did the time, I just hope you can move on with your life,

They never caught the driver who hit me.I still live with the pain, but I was lucky, I'm still alive.

    Best of luck Dean

  • @Dean3000plus

Somebody needs to make more friends then.

  • does anyone know the song title?

  • I'll wager it was written for the ads, so no idea.

  • i wonder who made the ad.. might be able to track down the title from the company.

  • when i was 10 a friend in my class was hit by a car when he was walking with his mom and sister. he died the next day. at his funeral his babby sister aksed where her brother was and it made me realise that i will never see him again

  • I don't remember seeing this one on tv...I'm thinking this was showing when i got my N64 for the first time. XD great song...now on to the next song

  • kinda a gay song ;) but the video's really gd

  • yeah there we go - though now I hear it again I don't know if like the accents of the vocalists that much. Mind you, this ad, from 2004, probably had the biggest effect on me out of any of the ads I've seen.

  • I was watching Law & Order; Criminal Intent when I first saw this ad.

  • hey, that's a good song. was ist composed just for the commercial?

  • I guess so, based on the lyrics.

  • actually - a good thing to notice is that all of the footage is seen again in various 'new' ads released up to 2007, despite the fact that this is from mid 2004.
