Yo fui a ASF y me da un poco de pena pensar que fui a la misma escuela que estos chavitos que ni pueden dar su propia opinion en un video por pena que sus cuates se burlen o no se que..hay demasiados grupitos en el americano que discriminan a los demas. Lo cual va encontra de todo lo padre que yopersonalmente pense que tenia.a mi se me hacia chingon poder convivir con tanta gente tan diferente..y la verdad, yo si sali con amigos de todo tipo, te toda clase, toda raza, religion, y "popularidad"..
la escuela se "supone" que es internacional, pero como dijo la chava del principio: "90% are mexicans". osea... los grupos de AMIGOS estan chidos pero estaria todavia MAS chido si esos grupos dejaran entrar a otra gente y q se deje conocer con gente de diferentes culturas y religiones. en mi generacion los populares son SIEMPRE muy mamones con los gringos y los de piel mas oscurita y los de asia. esta escuela esta muy jodida. deberia haber algo que podamos acr
It is both saddening and dissapointing, but its part of the cultural bubble 8) And it is just, exceedingly difficult to be able to change the student's behavior towards outsiders. I believe that if accomplished, a culturally integrated environment would provide a much better academic experience, but it is part of the system. And many, if not all, of the international schools in whatever country you may think of, present this social system of "clicks".
I'm currently attending ASF and I come from a distinct country. I'm not annoyed/irritated at social clicks. Not that I want to enforce them, not at all... It is just that, that's what people at the school have been taught to life their lives based on. It is sad, to see students discriminating fellow students, just because they don't look like them, they don't talk like them, or they just don' revolve around the same environment of parties, alcohol and decadence.

Having practiced and lived, for the last 11 years, among the most sophisticated areas (both culturally and economically) of the American community, in the USA, I can assure you that in Mexico, the new rich values only limit personal success and ultimately a sense of accomplishment.

The part of the problem that is never spoken about, now a days, is that we used to have at the ASF "Gringos" who were not part of the middle social class, but rather members of families who had a cosmopolitan and long tradition of high-end socio-economic status. Of course, this group was much more sophisticated than the new rich Mexicans. This has changed, the new rich values have overtaken, and this produces an environment of corruption, cynicism, and underachievement.
Wow! Hey, this is a really good depiction of a problem that is not new, but that has progressively gotten worse. I graduated from the ASF almost 20 years ago, and my class has really avoided getting together. When asked individually, people have told me "Para qué, para volver a ver los pendejitos del grupito que se sentía dueño del mundo?"
Asi se hace galan, dandole en la madre a los gringos y dando a conocer la verdad de su pinche escuela de mierda. Pinches gringos, no hacen nada mas que estar chingando, quieren tener Unity pero a la vez, promueven competitividad. Chingen a su madre los gringos
