I just couldn't figure out WHY i liked watching this kind of stuff. And getting this nice pleasurable "zip" while watching it.

@roquefortfiles I know how you feel. that is the spot that triggers it for me too. I used to be almost ashamed of the "feeling" because no one else knew what I was talking about. I even began to avoid it. But then I just gave in, because I realized why should I miss out on this just because others don't get it.

my one eye is lazy and when i look straight at something, im actually slanted a bit looking at it, like my nose would be slightly to the left (face too) but eyes would be able to focus perfect, when i straighten my head and try to straighten eyes, i start geting double vision. my eyes cant look outward. doesnt look obvious though thank god.

haha. i figured their were other people that had that "tingly feeling" watching this video. like when the slit lamp clicks. also love watching people get their hair cut, and the scissors and comb click together. used to love watching router workshop for that too haha. weird. glad to know that theirs something to call it now. ASMR lol.

@jonniephantom you are not alone!! I found this and i keep watching it for exactly that reason.  I get all zoned out when i watch it. I can't really explain why it does that.

@roquefortfiles It's a phenomenon called AMSR Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Do some research on youtube but theres tonnes of video to trigger that zoned out tingly feeling.

@sculli722 Is that a fact?!! Interesting. I don't know why it makes me feel like that. The part that gets me is when he does the light in her eyes. Something about the repetitive movement. Also when he does the Phoropter and makes the lenses change or click.

I thought i was alone on this but i guess not.

@roquefortfiles hey guys...I get this too. I thought me and my friend Neil were the only ones. Did you used to get it while the teacher was writing on the board? Especially if they whispered while they did it? What about people writing? That does it for me. With this video it's with the light in the eyes...as well as the checking of perscription and the health of her eyes. Doctors exams are good too - especially chest exams and reflex exams.

Weird observation I made, while watching this. Phoropaters looks like old Rail Road Crossing warning lights. We still have some RR lights like this, in my hometown. Everytime I pass it, I think of going to the eye doctor (LOL).

I didn't realize this until I recently almost went blind because I went to the wrong type of eye doctor when I had a serious eye disease.  Optometrists are great if you need glasses or contact lenses. But if you have a medical problem such as diabetes, macular degeneration, or glaucoma or have a serious problem with your eyes or vision that you don't think is from your glasses you need to go to an Ophthalmologist, who are medical doctors and eye surgeons.

@manesh actually a md is no better than a od. in fact your "primary eyecare provider" like me should work with a md and a retinal specialist. you probably went to a moron doctor at wal-mart / for eyes or some crap place for your healthcare. call obama maybe he can help you.

I went without glasses for years when I really needed them. I finally made the decision to get my eyes tested and get glasses. After doing it, I regret not having done it sooner. I've been wearing glasses for a year and it's not as bad as I thought it'd be.
