I consider myself a cowboy. I was raised on a cattle ranch and I remember there were two gay cowboys working there. Eveybody knew they were gay but nobody talked about it. I do not know why people are terrified of the idea of gay cowboys. I guess breaking a stereotype really freaked out some close-minded, ignorant people.
