Thank you for donating to such a worthy cause as solving global hunger! Too often do we worry about what we're going to blow our money on next. Fast food, a video game, a movie. Do we need to blow all of our money on this stuff? No. I will admit that a person should treat themselves every so often.
What we do in America is excess. We don't care for the needs others because giving inconveniences us. We may not get that new game we wanted or see that movie that just came out. Think about it.
Don't donate to the world food program. These people are living on a land that does not sustain their numbers. Starvation is natures check and balance. lt's like don't feed wildlife. lt feels right, but it is evil.

Man made environmental problems would not exist at all if our numbers were fewer. Sometimes ugly choices need be made to prevent far, far worse suffering death and tragedy in the future. I have studied the WFP, as an int'l org, and I know that the money is well spent. Some people just pawn off 'logic' that it is necessary for a population to decrease because of overpopulation. Human culling is what you describe. I give because it's what I can do to help to alleviate these people's pain and suffering. Many people legitimately need help. Too often do we focus in on the few that abuse the system.
It is an ugly choice to prevent people from receiving food. But I believe in the WFP.

I am sorry but you are absolutly wrong!I work for WFP and I can tell you that money doesn't go to "the people in power". Did you know that the 90% of WFP staff work on field?I suggest you to visit the WFP site...and maybe you will change your mind! :)
