Bonvie is only like, thirty-four. Gary Roberts is fourty-two from the Pittsburg Pens. And, if I'm not mistaken, Wyane Gretzki was fourty-four when he finally etired. I don't know about most hockey fans, but I have a lot of repect for older hockey players, they have experience, you need that on a team. You can't go 'all the way' with just talent.

i think the only reason bonvie retired is his body just couldnt take any more pummeling, im not trying to say he was a pussy or anything, but when your in as many fights as he was, its gonna take a toll on you eventually

This was after a fight with Jon Mirasty on 3/8/08 in Syracuse.

This is conceivably Bonvie`s last fight at the Oncenter as he is retiring at the end of this season and it`s WBS`s last game here for the season.

To the left of the penalty box from this view there were several hecklers of Bonvie, one of them threw(lightly) that puck at him and he very diplomatically(not his norm) signed it and specified that a child in the audience get it. I sit right behind the penalty boxes and saw this first hand.
