lol i got the same car as you! same color got the same rims exept mine are triple chrome plated next thing im going to do is maybe duel exaust and i was thinking 2 white or black racing stripes! idk yet >.<
@branman2012 btw i think u should have got the triple chrome plated ones! they r shinny as hell and stick out a shit load. i found them cheep off ebay so i got 18x9 in the back and 17x8 in the front
I can buy a V6 97 Mustang in Britain for about £3,000 but the insurance for me is almost £7,000 lol...i'm 22. Yet on a 350Z it's far cheaper? Is it because it's an import? costing more to repair?
Ive got this same car only w automatic. Its lowered on a 2" drop, custom springs. The exhaust is a true dual on a V-6 4.8. Mine is not as clean, wheels are bullits.
I will let you know the results and i plan on posting a video with the single chambers. There are two videos I know of on you tube now that have v6 Mustangs with the 10 series mufflers.
My 2.5" mid pipe is new because I had to cut out the 2.25 catback piping and "Y" pipe to put it in.
@branman2012 I did install the FM 10's. I designed an intermediate pipe running 2.25/2.50" before the mufflers. I am installing a set of CC Inserts this weekend. My recording of the single chamber mufflers is on you tube also.
I would think going from 4 cats to two high flow cats would be best for the car all the way around.
How did you install your system??
I bought a divorce dual conversion kit, bolted that to 94-98 GT intermediate 2.5" pipes, and then to the FM 40's. I ordered 2 FLOWMASTER 10 SERIES (single chamber) mufflers this morning. I cant wait to put them on.
Changing to 2.5" intermediate pipes really made the exhaust sound completely different. No longer hear the exhaust at all in the car 2000RPM's and less
@robb15033 When i got my car, this is what it had on it. 2.5 inch piping with a H pipe, cats, and the regular mufflers. Idk what brand the pipe is or anything, all i done was had flowmaster super 44's welded in. I dont mind the exhaust sound in the car, i just want it to be deep and have somewhat of a v8 rumble. Let me know if you put a vid up of it, and if you dont, let me know how that setup worked out for you.
Nice job. I'm looking for your exhaust video FM 44's. I just installed a dual conversion kit feeding my FM 40's which I'm changing to Flow Master 10 series (single chamber). Your exhaust sounds good. What size pipe?

@yourdaddy342 Lolol. Niice. Duals will be alot better. And yeah, id go with black, seems like it would go better with the color in my opinion.
branman2012 1 month ago
@branman2012 i was thinking white because if you look up a blue shellyby same color as this exept the white stripes really bring it out.

robb15033 1 year ago
@robb15033 i didnt't lower it, the guy that had it before me did. I dont know exactly what he did, he had monroe gas matic shocks on it.
