roflmao. no single soul alive could find any of the other HOTD games scary. don't get me wrong, the originals are great, but they suffered from horrendously bad voice acting (you would get more method acting from a corpse) and they definitely were not scary at all. in fact, the original games took themselves way too seriously

this is why overkill is such a breath of fresh air b/c it acknowledges the series's cheesiness
