You chose the wrong era communicator. People are literally clambering for the Art Asylum/DST communicators decked out with Bluetooth capability...it was a cash cow waiting to happen, and it just walked right by. I would have paid you £100 or more for one..easily. Not this though.

I am making one that is worn like tng, but I need more time to prototype it as I have no facilitys available for the moment. As for these it depends where I have to ship to as to how much I would charge.

Just did all the math & its around the £80 mark that I would need to charge to make it worth my while. Thats to anywhere in the uk or the states, I havent looked at costs to anywhere else yet. As well as the TNG syle on I am working on putting a 50mW laser into a phase pistol (For those who dont know 1mW is a regular laser pen & 50mW will pop balloons, Light matches & should melt plastic)

If I can get that to work then for the little away team kit of a bluetooth Enterprise Communicator & A phase pistol that actualy shoots a working laser it would cost around £150 including shipping. This is just a rough estimate as postage varies greatly depending where you send it.

It is Star Trekky as I used the same prop that was used on the show (The producers found it so much cheeper to just buy loads of the art asylm toys rather then produce there own props). Its big because thats how big they are in the show (see previous reason) & why would it be exciting? Its a bluetooth handset that looks like an Enterprise communicator.

There is one little bug that I still need to sort out before I sell anything & ive been so busy lately I havent had a chance to sort it. When everything is done (that includes the badge one) then I will offer a few on eBay to see what happens. Of course before that I will advertise heavly lol so I can make some money from it. If I dont make a large enough profit then it wont be worth it because I do make it totaly from scratch on my own in my kitchen with my free time.

There is no room left inside for anything lol. Getting the power & everything in actually required me to remove some of the plasic on the inside of the communicator. Im designing one for badges now which will have a headphne so its actually a practical hands free lol.
