This was always my favorite music of the game that had the best music ever overall for a video game. All the music for this game was so amazingly well prepared and placed into the game at the right time, thanks for uploading this clip of the save/safe room for the directors cut version. This music has a very nostalgic feel to it. Something about the bell sounds from the older games did this. Digimon World did that too.

lol I've been looking for this song forever. I used to watch my sister play the playstation version while I now have the remake on gamecube. I just love how comforting it sounds but then the striking of the wrong notes make you feel a little uneasy. ^^ Love RE <3

I just love this save room theme together w/ code veronica's.

This makes me nostalgic. I remember as a child playing the RE franchise or me and my cousins and sisters would watch my other sister play. Those were the days.. I wish capcom would remake RE 2 and 3 for PS3, it would be fun seeing nemesis chasing you again with better graphics, its much scarier!

@nightmoves17 I totally agree. Most of the song sounds very peaceful and happy. However, the last few notes have an unsure, nervous quality to them which highlights the tension of knowing you'll have to leave the room eventually.
