  • You have shown the Light side of much dark happenings in Fairmont’s recent destruction. We lost multiple homes on Fairmont Ave (one being the Reed House) and are about to lose the Fairmont Theater and sorrounding block. According to a town historic teh entire block is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Thanks for posting this wonderful video..

  • Fairmont continues to take down buildings that define what Fairmont WV was and could be again, with a little love for and no will to preserve the past and make it the future. It breaks my heart to see homes built cir 1900 sadly destroyed for parking lots or fast food chains. Entire city blocks built to withstand fire are leveled. The remains of Fairmont’s golden age are being picked away 1 by 1, destroyed by a system that cares not for the past or for the future stability of the Great City.

  • My home in the hills.
