You can dress it up with puppets and call it 'adult humour', but its still another sad, desperate effort by the Beeb. I watched the first ten minutes and gave up. There wasn't anything close to a funny line in it. BBC3 - the home of the shit-com. This is the result of networking and nepotism, not actual writing talent. You can imagine the script meeting: "The cat will have no testicles". "Yeah, like, er, someone I think is shit?" " Michael Buble" "Yeah, Michael Buble" "Genius!" Give me a break.

@w3evil No, Family Guy is ok. I'm just lamenting BBC homegrown stuff. It stinks of networking and nepotism. There are probably loads of talented writers out there who don't get a look in because they're not related to, married to, sleeping with, went to Oxbridge with, programme commissioners whose narrow scope is limited to the last 5 years and the 'yoof' demographic. Before you say it, I'm not a struggling embittered scriptwriter, just a disillusioned viewer.

There are different types of humour, and some people happen to like this type.

And like I say to everyone who monopolises youtube videos with their unhelpful commetnts - If you dont like it, dont watch it. Easy solution. Dont bother commenting on every youtube video to do with Mongrels. Its just boring.

Its on for 30 mins every week. I'm sure you can find something else to do with your life for that short amount of time......

@pencakes22 I'm sure I can, and do. But what's wrong with expressing an opinion? At least I give reasons. Admittedly, I was having a rant, but this show is just one in a very long line of 'this type of humour'. There are only two types: Funny and Not Funny. I just think that the BBC is a closed shop and talented people aren't getting the opportunity. This is why the TV companies are so afraid of You Tube. It's where all the best stuff is. Ironically, a lot of it is their past efforts.

It's not exactly as easy as just going to them with it, you usually have to have an agent to help you get something produced, but you don't usually get produced until you have an agent. :(
