If you go to a restaurant, order steak then tell the waiter you don't like steak, you are a jerk. Same goes for wine. If the steak is improperly prepared or the wine is improperly stored or is corked, then you have every right to not pay for it.

It is my understanding that the initial tasting is to ensure that the wine has not gone bad, not to ensure that you "like" it

so basically this whole tea - party ritual is just a polite way of telling your audience that they actually can back out from buying a Marked up Bottle of wine if you got second thoughts , ,, dig it tho theirs 4 glasses in a bottle , maybe if you buy the whole bottle ok , but if you buy an rare , glass of wine , theirs only one collectors cork for that Rare wine
