  • I never trusted My space or any websites to establish friendship or meeting a stranger, if people are falsely convicted of crimes how much information can you verify of anyone on part lines to know if you are in danger.I never understood how is it possible to trust someone you don't personally know .Sometimes the people you know personally may surprise you.Now imagine putting your trust on someone you never seen.

  • Lori Drew is just really cruel!! I mean, she's like 50 years old cyberbullying what the hell is the matter with her? Megan Meier, we will always remember you angel:) You didn't deserve a life like that. I mean, who really wants to be bullied online. I know not me. But I think that Myspace, Facebook, or any chat site should be banned from internet, or havea safety thing that detects cyber-bullying and banns them from that chat site.

  • Charge Lori Drew with LIFE IN PRISON!!!

    LET HER ROT!!!

DIE IN A FIRE LORI DREW!!!! HAVE FUN GETTING RAPED IN PRISON

  • she needs to go to jail and watch videos of this event every day for an hour and then make her think about what she has done

  • @pvtbonner Definetely!!

  • i think she need jail time!!!

  • If they can't find a state law that can apply to the case they might reconsider making a law. Things like this shouldn't happen and if they do they should be ponishable by law.

  • Bullying is silly

A grown ass woman who looks about 50 cyberbullying??? PLAIN RETARDED!

  • they have no other names for it. the girl comitted suicide is that silly to u

  • Lauirie Drew should go to jail and rot in it. How can you not take responsibility over a rude prank she did in the end she will pay for what she did in her conscience or in jail 20 yrs is not going to bring the girl back from the dead laurie and who ever helped her i thin it was her daughter too should spend life in jail.

  • Thank goodness Lori Drew is getting some kind of action taken against her.

  • there is no justice in this world.

  • So basically the law was saying:

    "Guess what?

I'm blind and you're paying for it."

I understand that in order to enforce a law, first it must be created and aproved.

But what exactly requires any further investigation in order to cut through the technicalities and -at least- create a law that would offer both justice to those damaged with this situation as well as punishment against this in the future?

  • finally some justice...

but still the mom looks like Marilyn Manson

    which is a good thing

but why the hell would someone WANT to cyber bully? to make them seem cool? well it only makes them idiots for it

  • Our lawmakers need to WAKE UP! This the 21st century - with the World Wide Web we need laws in place to protect children from cyber bullies & every other type of crime committed on the internet. Write to your state reps, we need laws passed, so ppl like Lori Drew cannot get away with the deeds they have committed.

  • In this case it's protecting children from children. 19 years old is not adulthood. Not in rational terms, their brain hasn't even fully developed.

And (bare with me...) minors also feel empowered to get away with anything because they understand that legally, they're safe. So let's hope that in attempting to protect them, you're not actually raising little psychopaths (i.e. underaged people who are learning how to harm & use others with absolutely no consequences to them, based on age).

  • I don't understand why the goverments wastes our tax dollars on psychos like that she needs death I think she caused a young girl to take her life because of immaturity.

  • how can any parent go to such extremes to hurt a girl who had a problem with their daughter. Could they not have sat down with megan and her parents and talked about it...well i guess they thought not. So they made up a fake person for megan to like just to hurt her..there is to much death and suicide in this world and thanks to them..they helped put another name on that list!.so i dont blame megans parents i blame the other parents! i hope they can live with knowing they helped someone die!!

  • I agree with (Source69- 2 comments down)

20 years is so long. It's had to imagine 20 years. Wow, but think... Megan would be what 34 or so? Still not as old as the so called adult(s) in the situation. So I can't disagree, 20 years is to long. Too long to pay taxes to keep that devil alive. She is a waste of air. A waste of money. A waste of the gift of life. 20 years is too long. In my eyes 20 minutes is to long. She deserves death.

  • I agree. It's my opinion that that mother who did this to Megan is extremely mentally ill. This does not, in the least, excuse what she did. What she did is unspeakable and...it seemed not to even occur to her that what she was doing was truly diabolical. She should be executed.

  • It's not unlikely that they're going to make an example of Lori Drew to prevent other parents from undertaking such an ill advised and stupid action.

If nothing else, it's likely that this will take all of Lori Drew's savings to pay for legal bills. Certainly it's odd that they've remained in that town when the people now clearly hate them.

  • This is the parents fault. They need someone to blame for their own negligence in child rearing. They should have taught their kid to have a thick skin, and lets remember,... this child took her own life. 20 years is a long time. That's the same sentence as premeditated murder in most states. If the woman can be proven accountable for the actions described she should be held minimally responsible. Ohhh waaa! The emotions of parents...handle it! This is a new precedent with that conspiracy charge

  • I agree.

  • Drew and all responsible adults should get HARD time. Stop the online child predators!

  • what a bitch.hey dont forget to SUE HER ASS OFF!!!!!!!!!YOU CAN. make her life HELL!

  • If people aren't willing to take responsibility for their actions online then unfortunately, we need legislation so that the government can.

  • Good.. hope she gets the years!

Newsflash bitch: You're not in junior high! it's not ok to harass and torment mentally ill people over the internet.

  • i hope that bitch gets raped in prison

  • i know right i totally agree with matt i mean how stupid do u have to be to kill urself i mean come on

  • What a bitch i hope the women gets what is comming to her...

  • And this is why I would never allow kids on the computer the parents are as much to blame as the woman that set up the account and should get the chair
