The Bulgarians are the descendants of a mixture of old Turkish tribes. Even their ethnic name Bulgar is a derivation of the Turkish word "bulamak" which means "the mixing". And having Turkish origins they naturally and definitely have used the titla Khan or Han for their kings. Of course now they have lost their Turkish identity and consider their selves as Slavic they don't like to hear about their Turkish origins because they consider the Turks hostile in their history.

Bulgarians were called like this by other Turkish clans because the were mixed with many other clans and even other nations as the Slavs which eventually led their complete Slavization. today's Bulgars has no relation with Old Turkic Bulgars, coz Bulgarians were Slavized in history.Modern Bulgaria didnt respect Turks living in Bulgaria.Zhinkov tried to assimilate Turks and deported them in 1980s. You dont own Turks but you know well to own their history!!!

The book must be accurate, because the ones who are confirmed to be bulgarian are in the book exactly as we know them. And Attila is the ruler of European Huns.

No, a compact bulgarian mass( Alceko Bulgars) settled down in central italy in the 7. century. It is very well known fact to history and it has nothing to do with the romans, simply because at that time there was no roman empire already. By the way, Italy is as much related to the Roman empire as the Kurds with the Assyrians, i.e. relation converging to zero.
