  • i had to make some changes so i have enough characters to fit in the previous comment

  • Even in a book of lies sometimes you find truth There is indeed a season for all things and now that I see you flesh to flesh and blood to blood I know I cannot raise my hand against you but know this you are my greatest disappointment. Does your master hear me? Atlas! You can kill me but you will never have my city My strength is not in steel and fire that is what the parasites will never understand A season for all things! A time to live and a time to die a time to build and a time to destroy!

  • BTW, Listen closely @ 1:10 and you can hear a woodwind (most likely a bassoon) Squeak for just a second! Only flaw in this recording I can detect.

  • The Bioshock and Gears of War games are collectively some of the most violent yet emotional games I have ever played. I felt similarly when Dom dies as does Subject Delta. Only the dead have seen the end of war.

  • would you kindly like this status

  • when i first heard this music on 5.1 speakers the very last second of the music scared me.... i thought my door slammed by itself

  • I forgot put me

  • This was the best game I ever played and it makes want to go to the redondo beach pier every day were I could see how the ocean is

  • Poseidon Shrugged

  • One thing that bioshock taught me is to never trust anyone even if they are your closest friend unless they did a great deal for you that you can't repay e.g tananbam

  • I've never seen a bouncer with that weapon before...

  • @1davidbboy It's an elite bouncer

  • I cried

  • love this game so much made me think....like wow....why..?lol

  • I cannot even begin to describe this game... But here it goes.... Amazingly epic with a kickass setting which was complemented by ace graphics and deep characters and a fantastic twist (how was that??)

  • @paulio252 That description doesn't make the game justice.

  • makes me have chills, u???

  • Just 1 word.

    Wow.

  • Does everyone remember that moment when you believe Atlas's family to be dead on the submarine. You slowly walk up to it and this music plays at the wreckage. Really touched me that moment did.

  • This is a real GAME, with emotions, feelings, scenario, gameplay, music, graphics, it's everything! And leave all the other puppies , to...respawn!

  • Oh, and one person needs to get beat by Jacks wrench and stomped on by Delta.

  • A wonderful and beautifully haunting song. It describes Rapture in just one minute. The game is absolutely brilliant.

  • @bren97122 it describes the game in every single way

  • Best game ever made. If anyone wants to make an argument, I'm all ears.

  • This is the most inspiring game ever.I learned a lot from playing it.But it touched my heart and it proably touched much others hearts. One thing I learned is sacrifice is worth more than life.Saving thousands and only losing 1 is great! But still losing 1 is bad.Bioshock, you inspired me.......... (THIS IS MY OPINION)

  • This brings tears to my eyes. Bioshock 2, had just as sad ending as the first one. All that sacrifice for nothing.

  • @freedomslastflight In Bioshock 1, it wasn't for nothing. If you went the good path, you gave the children a future even though you had none. You had no purpose in life but to serve.

  • would you be so kindly...

  • This game is truly a masterpiece

  • @Andrew223a indeed... and you know what would be awesome? if they made a film out of those two story lines (from the first and the second)

  • @SpaceMonkey0315 Idk about a movie since it would be hard to do. But it would be cool

  • @Andrew223a No, I think that all the amazement would be ripped violently out of Bioshock if you felt as if you were watching someone else do these things. The best part about Bioshock is that you get sucked into the experience, feeling triumph after taking down a Bouncer or Rosie, then freeing the trapped little girl inside the Little Sister. If they made a movie, it would most likely be following from a different perspective, you don't feel like you are doing all the fighting and exploring.

  • @Andrew223a would you kindly illuminate?

  • 5 people hacked a vending machine

  • 5 people ran out of adam

  • Do you remember....

    1. When you could get on youtube without a huge ad at the top of your homepage?

    2. When EVERY music video was from a user, not Vevo?

    3. When you could use it as a music player without having an ad in the beginning of a music vid?

    4. When copyright infringement wasn't a big deal?

    5. When it was YOUtube?

Copy and paste onto videos telling youtube how PISSED we, the YOU in YOUtube, are with their greedy corporate butts.

  • I like to hit the little sisters with the wrench.

  • @xvise66 hi, im a big daddy, and i dont approve of actions like this, please stand still while i rape you with my drill.

  • You brought tears to my eyes, are you happy now?

  • 5 people had the ocean on their shoulders.

  • I love Jack Ryan so much.

  • Atlas lives!!

  • 5 people played too much cod

  • 5 people got killed by big daddies

  • Would you kindly, like this song.

  • when atlas told the story of his wife and child it opened my heart and when i "thought" they died i cryed cuz he put on a great acting show for it and thats what made this game for me was how he lied so well to you and made you beleave the lies

  • @supersnow17 Rapture was raised with lies anyways...

  • @MirokuKazekage and the only one who can save it is just a man not a slave

  • If you liked this soundtrack, listen to my medleys and tell me what you think of them!

  • would you kindly find the 5 people office kill the son of the bitches

  • I always cry listening to this song and I hate to admit that but still such a great mix of sadness and Beauty both Bioshock games are like the Half Life games every "True" Gamer must play them

  • Ah me poor Mairia! Ah me wee baby Patrick!

  • Bioshock was actually a heart warming experience for me. It brings all emotions together. hate, love, anger, distrust, all mixed up into one awesome science fiction game with an actual meaning. imo this is one of the best games ever.

  • @matt111able23

It's steampunk, not Science Fiction. ;)

  • i loved sinclair so sad that he died

  • @fellan123456789 thanks for the spoiler

  • @erererer2 sorry =D

    Ö

  • The Rapture dream was over. And in waking im alone.Mother,I left behind. And you chose to die, rather been to have me follow you.But you gave me the greatest gift of all.Something i have never had.My freedom. There is no name for what I am,but the world is about to change.I thought we would sieze it together. It,as i sat there with you,I wondered if even i could be redeemed.Your sacrifice gave me hope. But father, wherever you are,I miss you. Phrase from saddest ending T.T (my opinion)

  • @GoodnesAngel 1 year old comment but still... i agree ;(

  • <3 the game,<3 the story, and definitly love this song

  • 0:29 Onwards is the saddest thing I have ever heard :'(

  • i hate this game becouse its so scary

  • @danielwowman WWHHHHAAAATTTT?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • @danielwowman

    lol

    R U kidding me ?

  • Comment removed

  • The crying violine from 0:30 on is so beautiful.

  • @SpookyNooky right that, youre so right!!!!

  • this is like the perfect game

  • god i love both of those games the story the music the gameplay

  • reminds me of Titanic, beautiful music

  • This song gives me goosebumps... in a good way ;u;

  • anyone know the notation for this? the violin i mean

  • im playing through number 2 now, and theres so many refrences to the first one, names, places, people, even tiny details, codes written in the fog on glass, there are wonderfull little chunks of refrence, and im loving it so much. on a side note, this song, is so beautifull it makes me tear up, and i dont know why, its perfect, it starts of with that sparatic creepyness, then moves into heartbreakingly haunting slow violin, that leads back to creepyness, i love this song so much.

  • 283 people missed the dislike button.

  • @titusbozga dont you mean 5 people missed the like button?

  • @titusbozga do you wanna lick my cat's balls ! you would never wanna miss the of its taste

  • this is awsome!!!!

  • To me, this main theme has so much more emotion in it than the theme from the second game. This theme makes me forget the second game ever existed.. and in doing so, brings tears to my eyes every time. Rapture has such a heartbreaking story, and this score really brings me back to the words "It looks like there's been a plain crash!" and Jack's entire adventure into the broken city..

  • Out of interest, anyone have ideas for a bioshock 3? Like what they'd want to see happen in the next one?

  • @1337ijs yes i do, maby not the best ones but still ideas.

like you get to chose a pathe of either a big sis, rumbler, bouncer, or rosie

and a very intense co-op with a friend would be awesome. and if possible filling in some of the gaps between 1 and 2. but i really enjoyed how connected to the games and story i felt while playing.. :)

  • I love how they put the original Theme into Bioshock 2 at the end.

  • epic

  • Bioshock 1 and 2 are the best games ever. The gameplay is fun, the feel and the music are fantastic and the storyline is simply amazing.

  • And then father, the rapture dream was over. You taught me that "evil" is just a word. under the skin, its simple pain. for you, mercy was victory. you sacrificed, you endured and when given the chance, you forgave, always. Mother believed that this world was irredeemable, but she was wrong, father. we ARE utopia, you and i, and in forgiving, we left the door open for her.

  • @jsingle5 and then father, the rapture dream was over. you tought me that ''love'' is just a word and we give it meaning by choice...

and i havent had that ending in a while...

    i love bioshock

  • The intro scared me... is that normal?

  • @EmmaJoJa yup

  • @EmmaJoJa no lol

  • @EmmaJoJa Bioshock is considered a horror game, so yes, yes it is.

  • Love is but a Chemical , we give it meaning by choice

  • Would You Kindly....?

  • You said evil is just a word, under the skin, it's simple pain, for you - mercy was victory - you sacrificed, you endured . and given the chance, you forgave, ALWAYS. Mother believed this world is irredeemable, but she was wrong, father, we are utopia, You and I, and in forgiving, we left the door open for her.

  • loved the music from 0:19

  • @IAMELIPHAS Just finished the second game, it was also awesome!

    Still prefer the frist though

  • @IAMELIPHAS so i see you hose the good ending, eh?

  • @SgtKickazz I think it just goes the best with the music.

  • @IAMELIPHAS Fuck Bioshock 2!

  • @terminegger fuck the police!

  • the 5 people that disliked this can get killed by splicers, 10 stars

  • i think bioshock 2 was fine, but the ending kept me sad for days...

i mean you search the whole game for your little sister, you find her

    and then you die!?!

    thats just f*cked up...

  • @RSgiovani666 you just ruin the ending for me -.-

  • @playaz030

    sry m8 :s

  • @RSgiovani666 haha i forgot they have more then 1 ending (i hope) no big deal ;)

  • @playaz030 You KNOW spoliers are going to be in the bleedin' comments section, if you read something that ruined it for you, thats your own dumb fault, not his.

  • @HalfLord chill ;) i said its no big deal.

  • @RSgiovani666 i agree

  • @RSgiovani666 i dont think you die completely because she took the adam from you and saw everything from her perspective so its like when you became the little sister near the end

  • @AsianInsomniac well yes but you know i kinda miss his drill and stuff

    :3

  • i just played and comlpeted bioshock 1 and i must say its amazing, its a shame the had to ruin 2 and have that stuid lamb thing, also i wish you played as a human, with playing as a big daddy the atmostphere goes

  • I think when they make a bs3 its gonna be a prequel to bs1. Like when eveything hadn't gone to hell.

  • I'm not sure if they can make a BS3, they basically blew up half of the city at a minimum in BS2. If they do make a third one, it might be taking place during the Civil War

  • "Listen - I've got a family. I need to get them out of here. But the splicers have cut me off from them. If you can reach them in Neptune's Bounty, then maybe, just maybe ...

I know you must feel like the unluckiest man in the world right now, but you're the only hope I'll ever see my wife and child again. Go to Neptune's Bounty ... find my family ... please"

  • @KirbyOnCronic fucking that was back when i felt sorry for the guy before he betrayed you

  • @KirbyOnCronic Nice work, boyo! Hahahahaha! Hahaha! Hahahaha! It's time to end this little masquerade. There ain't no 'Atlas', kid, never was. Someone in my line of work takes on a variety of aliases. Hell, once I was even a Chinaman for six months. But you've been a sport, so I guess I owe you a little honesty. Name's Frank Fontaine.

  • @KirbyOnCronic thats sends shiv ers down my spine.

  • @KirbyOnCronic Reading this quote while listening to this song just gives me goosebumps.

  • if they make bioshock 3 then i wish they could make some points or even Meet Bioshock 1,2 caracters right before they leave rapture!Like seeing Jack for a moment fighting with him and then suddenly get hit and be unconscnous and wake up like when Delta starts his part

  • damn this song makes me cry sometimes i swear......it has so much emotion...

  • :'(

  • So touched. I want to play Bioshock again!

  • i love this song ist buitiful

  • im just glad little sister dont look ugly as shit hole jesus in the secound game.

  • Wonderfull...nothing else...and sad...great.

  • Wait.. Was this music in the ending before Eleanor's Lullaby?

  • @Oaksparrow Yeah :)

So sad. Makes me tear up hahaha

  • This is such a nice song, it makes me cry.

  • I am a litle curious i thought he was her actual dad to, in on of the diaries it talks about a guy who in a diveing suit went down to rapture while trying to find his daughter but that Ryan being the paroniod fucker that he is took him and started experminting on him. not sure if this is it any one got anny ideas.

  • @zan2011 Eleanor's dad was incinerated by Ryan after finding out he was trying to overthrow him covertley Eleanor was condition to love delta like a father

  • @zan2011 If you followed the website before the launch, it tells you how little girls were being kdnapped from the surface by the big sisters to become more little sisters, and the guy who is investigating the kidnappings has had his daughter kidnapped too, but the guy that Ryan believes is CIA, was just some random diver that happened to stumble upon rapture. He didn't take him per se, but stanley poole sold him to the protector programme.

  • @xninjaxassasin Stanley Poole was making Ryan paranoid about Johnny Topside which is why Ryan decided to give him to the protector programme

  • @xninjaxassasin

    No!No! Fitzpatrick!

First of all, in bioshock 2 the guy you play as is delta... the first big daddy to be created and having the ability of self-control unlike other daddies. Sure, his kid was kidnapped BUT THAT WAS HIS LITTLE SISTER ELEANOR.

And don't you EVER say that that was some random guy who stumbled upon rapture.... if you played bioshock ... shame on you so much buddy.

The guy who ryan thought was CIA, but he was really jack. respond to hear the rest.

  • @wo0t7 /facepalm

He was talking about the Something in the Sea.

1.Mark Meltzers was the guy investigating the kidnappings and HIS DAUGHTER was kidnapped. If you actually played bioshock 2 you'd know this.

2.About Delta,i don't remember if he randomly stumbled upon Rapture but he was a diver. But,i do agree with you on the CIA part,he may have mixed that up

  • bioshock 9 and a half out of 10... just so scary!

  • Why it sounds a bit like Code Geass...

  • O_o

  • The ending of Bioshock 2 is actually better than the ending of the original, but the original has a better story.

  • You said evil is just a word, under the skin, it's simple pain, for you - mercy was victory - you sacrificed, you endured . and given the chance, you forgave, ALWAYS. Mother believed this world is irredeemable, but she was wrong, father, we are utopia, You and I, and in forgiving, we left the door open for her.

....every time i think about this speech made by Eleanor, i get all emotional lol.

  • @phantom0assassin Yeah, Eleanor made some pretty emotional speeches at the end. Personally, the one that got me really teary is the speech she makes when Delta chooses to die. The "I miss you" just really tears into your gut.

  • @CrazyIemon Never thought video game can make me this depressed.....

  • when it gets to the slower more saddening part....i almost cry everytime. this has the best videogame storyline-ever.

  • maaaaan in bioshock 2 ending this song influenced me so much. I've even felt sadness

  • @RenegadePlague

its not completely in a trench...and not like right now, like even when the civil war started

  • i think this delves into Jack's mind of upon the discovery of being created as a 3 year old sleeper agent to be the turning point in the war, who believed he was human, when in reality he was just created as a living doll. It really makes himself question what he is, whether he's human or just a homunculus

and for you FMA fans, no i'm not referring to those homunculi with powers. I'm talking about it's definition: an artificial human being with no soul.

  • It is said that there are going to be to sequels/prequels and therewith five Bioshock games. I can't wait for them. Bioshock/Bioshock 2 are two of the best games I've ever played. I think the story is kinda touching..

    Beautiful soundtrack by the way.

  • gotta love the big daddies. and the creepycute little sisters

  • They also nailed the audio. The music and sound effects are amazing.

  • Well, would you kindly upload some more of this amazing soundtrack?

  • @DeeEriccTv Wait for Actual announcements. Besides, The movie was scrapped due to difficulty's a while back, and nothing else has been said about it yet. We can hope though

  • If rapture was real...would you visit it, even in its current condition?

  • @MagnumPicture

What destroyed and in a trench?

  • not all of rapture was destroyed only the bit hanging over the trench

  • i love dis song its so beautiful yet so horrifying!! its like im staring @ rapture thinking *its so beautiful* right be4 a splicer comes and tries 2 kill me..

  • listening to this and reading sad/angsty manga is too much... TT~TT

  • I don't even remember hearing this is one, I just remember this from two when your almost at the end.

  • That's why I have a console buddy...

  • Best game ever. :)

  • I remember 0:17 when I was playing Bioshock for the first time, that melody while Atlas tells you after you crashed and got trapped inside Rapture that you must feel like the unluckiest person in the world, and that his family is trapped and begs you to help him. :'(

  • He got tous all....played us all as a sucker.Fantastic game.

  • @Nightmeare

I still can't believe how unbelievably well Fontaine's character was made - when he was Atlas, the game really made you feel hatred for Andrew Ryan for killing his 'family', and then when it turned out that you'd been screwed over not only did you feel like an idiot but you were astounded by the fact that you never saw it coming - he leaves so many signs...

  • @CaptainFalconOnAPogo

I know. I found that out and was just like

    "WHAAAAAAAAAA?!"

  • wow predalien dont read comment!!! you meat head!!!

  • Iam sorry but your site doesnt exist. If it would exist it would show up right on the top of Google search.

  • I wish they had tied Bioshock 2 with Bioshock's storyline more.

  • bioshock 2 has all the secrets you didnt reveal in the first one. how fontain became atlas, how he planned every step. how the sisters are bonned with the daddies. and more... i love both...but the only thing that i like more about the first one. (which is not a problem, it is just a fact that cannot be changed) is the amazement as i explore rapture. the first one had this magical feeling of a different atmosphere. in the second one. it is less, because you already know where you are. peace!

  • In the second one it explains the life bond between the little sisters and the Alphas, they aren't permanently bonded to the rosies, bouncers, or rumblers. (Or big sisters if you want to count them.)

I agree that Bioshock 1 is better then #2 because the first one has HUGE areas to explore, plus you could go back to most of the areas of the game. Bioshock 2 is only better in terms of combat, being able to use Plasmids and Weapons at the same time, the better rendering of some characters.

  • Also the AI, I was playing #1 the other day and found that some of the AI was quite stupid. This one splicer kept trying to run through a wall at me as I was just shooting her.

I understand how they couldn't put some of these things in the first game, like using Plasmids and weapons at the same time, in the first one you are just a human so you would have to use both hands for most weapons, but they should have made it so you could use Plasmids with 1 handed weapons like the wrench and
