I want to know what law deals with the 3rd amendment (quartering troops), the 7th (jury trials), and the 11th amendment (lawsuits against states), not to mention the 4th (searches and seizures).
@adklhe Well, it'd be a case so maybe a Guardsmen crossed state lines, got hammered, forced his way into a home, was arrested, his car got searched illegally, which resulted in years of back cases in State Courts,
or maybe they just got drunk and started making shit up,
@adklhe A new law allowing states to billet, against the wishes of the inhabitants, National Guardsmen under any justifiable circumstance, and then the troops (or state) not being liable for prosecution on invasion of privacy or perversion of justice if they search and seize, without an appropriate warrant, any illegal materials in the civilian house in which they've been placed.
