Interesting. I've been thinking about doing statics for every other squat workout. After doing 20 rep squats or rest pause single squats my knee joints ache for up to a week after. What's your experience with statics transferring to full range of motion strength increase?
Static exercises are non transferable for the most part. You will just get strong at the point you hold it. The reason we use them is to increase the total time under for an exercise. So in an hypertrophy phase you can fall in the proper time frame for a lift to get the results your looking for.
