So when one company uses ideas of others it is natural.

Apple was visionary enough to incorporate that in their OS. Even Excel/Spreadsheet idea wasn't from MS. It was programmed by 2 Harvard teachers and was called Visicalc. And partly because Xerox made it Apple lost in court to Microsoft because only original work can be copyrighted. Also Ideas cannot be copyrighted. You seriously want it only to be Apple that is allowed to make GUI interfaces with windows and office icons?

You can't have someone read a book, and then talk to you about it in the present tense, you have to have read the book first....hence going away and reading it before talking to you.
So, correct usage would be "talk to me after you have read a book", or "talk to me after reading a book", not a sloppy amalgamation of the two

No. That's why he hires the smart engineers to bring in new ideas for him, otherwise all the ideas of these kids don't go anywhere. It becomes a win-win situation for both parties: the software engineers get good paying jobs for their hard work and creations/ideas, and Bill Gates gets to use those ideas/creations in his company.
