I suffer from IC , and have done for the past 2 years, and im only 16:/
It makes me suicidal, i have to take days off college all the time.
I cant drink alcohol and if i do, im in pain for days!
Sick and fed up of my life already, i cant take it anymore.
Doctors have gave me pathetic tablets that make no difference and ALSO they just think it's constant urine infections. f*ucking useless doctors!!!!! I've basically just decided i have this because every single sympton, i have!!

@XBrookSay I'm so sorry that it's been so hard for you. My first symptoms appeared when I was in 7th grade so I can relate. If you are suicidal, please call your local suicide hotline AND tell your doctor or parents. You deserve the best care out there.. and if you let them know that your pain is that bad, they should help you get that care. There is hope and there are lots of potential treatments that work for many MANY patients. If you'd like more IC info, you and your mom can call my office!

@XBrookSay One more thing. If you're in the UK, please know that a HUGE problem over there is the use of ketamine, known as "special K." It's very popular at raves and parties for teens and college students. Unfortunately, it can cause severe bladder ulceration and kidney damage as well. Just passing this info along for anyone reading.

My girlfriend has this ): She goes through so much pain and it's really horrible seeing her in such pain. i wish there were more views on this, more awareness, the stories i've read, and just being close as i am to someone with this disorder, really shows that something needs to be done! My heart really does go out to all IC patients...I Wish there was something i can do to help!!!

I have to go to court tomorrow to face a charge of "Attempting to Teach Chess without a Permit. I am so anxious about it that my IC flare is like a torture crucifiction.
Really horrible. I have been in bed 18 hours so far.
