Im 42 years old and watched all these ole hot rod movies with my dad. I always wondered what happened to this car, My dad passed away 1-7-12 and I wish he could share this info on this car with me. remember '59.a guy whom l use known had 54 chev. he dumped a motor from a wrecked 58buick(300hp). he painted it flat black, modified the motor. he also modified steering. to turn into traffic from park one had to turn wheel to right to go left. he was afraid of someone hotwiring it and if they started it they would wind up at the soda fountain of the drug store where he use to park it. aircraft landing lights for driving lights enough to singed the hair back off ones head.he was in the airforce

If this car and Milner's coupe didn't make it for Lucas, the (laughable) Star Wars script would be sitting in a closet somewhere collecting dust. Im not a fan of Star Wars but just can't get enough of the 55's and the 32's. I'ld pay to watch these 2 TITANS race! :)

ANY reputable restoration man / shop / expert or venue will tell you that THIS CAR can be put back to what it was (movie trim) VERY EASILY...The Car Was Done Once For The Blacktop Movie, Then Re-Done For The Graffiti Movie.. So it can be done again!.. It Still has ALL OF THE ORIGINAL & Unmolested Sheet Metal, frame and suspension, fiberglass etc STILL ON THE CAR TODAY!.
