once you call it a drunk circus, everybody realizes you dont know what these type of tom waits songs are about. he is doing a bohemian opera style ( brecht , weill if you know who that is ). so your cover just cant do anything else than bore and fail .

it doesn't sound like a drunk circus. it sounds like an opera. the song is sung by frank the accordion player for the theatrical production of "big time" written by Waits and his wife Kathleen Brennan. I get tired of people using the words "drunk" as a description. Put some more thought into it and if you cannot take criticism, don't post videos because people are going to have rude words for someone who writes dumb descriptions in their videos.
