@funkl3 I think a lot of people are scared to play RR since he takes damage like a laundry basket, but he's insanely small. People are most likely going to drop their high damage combos because of how small he is.
@nassaulnoal In all honesty the drop combo factor makes up for the weak life. Random supers will kill him quick, but combos almost always get dropped with him. That and it feels hilarious beating ppl with him.
@therpjonkid Sorry, but it has to be done sometimes. I mean If I just constantly rush down all I do is eat assists and normals. The game makes it hard for me to retain my rush down style from regular mvc3.
To be honest, the games beefed up "zoning" ability has kinda taken fun from this game. Earlier I faced this cat that rocked a ghost rider team and overdrived on jump s. I asked him why and response was "I didn't know what to do in the situation".
@Naizu1 Another example that shows how the game is more oriented towards run away play styles. If you don't know what to do, you can always run and get away with tons of stuff. It's becoming a game to see who is the lamest. Thanks for the comment.
i hate dooms that run away all day an do nothing but footdive and have no clue about his actual mobility options >.> Then these keepaway teams, i ran into a guy who uses dr doom missiles and morrigan as a point and all he did was spam and run then when i get close he combos me. missile assist should go away as soon as he his hit by anything like sentinel drones. -I play doom
@XalPhoon Lame is now a top tier tactic. In umvc3, it's so easy to flood the screen with hit boxes. I mean it only makes sense that people would learn how to exploit it as much as possible. Even players who rush down. I see players like MastaCJ who use Dorm and just constantly tri jump with H or S constantly, with out regard to what is happening on screen. Stuff like pisses me off. Thanks for the comment.
But on to the game itself, I dont gauge this games training engine very accurately. For example, my Dante unblockable setup gets blocked 90% of the time by 1 frame because the computer is god like.
@TheNewDemoman Thanks, appreciate the wishes. Yeah, training mode is great for getting your combos down. I mean, that's what I use it for, but for actual tactics and stuff like that it doesn't work very well for me either. I saw how top tier Doom was so I put him on my team. I'm tired of losing lol. Thanks for the comment.
@HiderFire82 Thanks, yeah Vergil is pretty much my main for this version of marvel. I liked Dante in regular mvc3 and Vergil was just a great alternate. His combos are really fun and I think are some of the coolest looking in the game.
Maybe it's just me but it seems like the game's training engine is preconditioning us to believe that keep away is the way to win. And when playing against others I can't stand the random hypers. Like you said, no flow. That's my 2 cents. Doctor Doom does have some new air technology that's exciting, though. Watch Marline Pie's latest fights vs Tomahawk and Chris G. Pretty amazing stuff. And Dieminion's point character is Viewtiful Joe. Morrigan is the anchor. Good luck with school
@joey86641 Random supers are top tier now, especially with supers like Ryu's and Strange's. I've seen Marlin Pie's combos and all it seems to me is like a new combo rather than technology, but that's just me. It's cool and everything, but I miss things like the dhc glitch. I miss those things in the game that gave it more depth. Thanks for the correction, I totally forgot for some reason who dieminion played. Thanks for the comments.
What's up brother. Enjoyed the fights as usual. Funny how often I agree with your top notch commentary. I'll contribute this: When trying to improve combos, setups and general execution in the training room, I find it's best done with a standing dummy because the game's engine is so unrealistic. Teleport setups get read, unblockables get blocked, and it seems all I'm doing is fighting on reaction, without a plan. I feel like it's better to just play a keep away game.
@joey86641 I agree with what you're saying, but it being marvel, it's hard not to play on reaction. I mean even in actual game play, players mash assists or just mash a normal and get lucky. Just like in my last videos, I was losing and all I did was start pushing some buttons to pretty much shut down a rush down player. Like you said about keeping away, it's great to just chick guard and let people run into your normals or projectiles.

@MrBritishaccents Sorry about that. I'll see if I can find a solution to soften up the censor sound.

Lol, every time I hear the censor I laugh a little bit.

@therpjonkid From my experience those people don't pay every month for their subscription, they just make a new account to get the free 1 month.
