i saw a clip of these guys once,from a UK talk show that had jimmy page and robert plant as guests,and they had clips of all sorts of bands covering this song in different styles, like the Beatles, the B-52's, and Elvis.

This audio track is by THE AUSTRALIAN DOORS SHOW, probably the best sound-alikes of the original doors in the world... When they wanted to, they could sound just like the real thing. The lead singers name is Steve (Biggles was his band name). They are AKA "GSH", (Game Show Hippies) I attended heaps of their gigs in the 1990's in south east Queensland. Some of their gigs (in Morrison style) were SHIT, but others were Sheer MAGIC.

@anilivel No its actually not and being a big doors fan i automatically know that Jim Morrison Died july 3rd 1971 and the record was released November 8th 1971 and for another fact they only did 7 cover songs, this is an australian doors cover band meaning its not the original doors but a band from australia playing doors songs and decided to do Stairway to heaven

It would be rare if it was the Doors, not this time, this is by The Australian Doors Show, an excellent Doors tribute band. Their version of Stairway to Heaven was from the TV show "the Money or the Gun", the idea was that every guest band on the show had to sing Stairway to Heaven.
