Get a Honda Cub, one of the old CT50 models if you can, they were called a trail 50. They get up to 330 MPG, are much more comfortable, better shocks, and can haul much stuff on the back - better than a motorized bike, and they will do 50MPH. They are also 49cc so moped exemptions should apply.
I has one , someone wanted to ; they took it off my car port. I sure i still peesit @#%&&$ . I guess i'll have to put another one together. I hope they break their neak ...
this is what we need in the uk, but our goverment who happens to have surrended to europe won`t allow it under eu law unless you tax, mot and insure it, have a license and you must also wear a motorcycle helmet, and if your thinking go electric, you are limited to a top speed of 15mph on the motor, above that and it`s a moped, but you can pedel it to 50mph and it`s still a bicycle, you american`s are lucky, i thought our goverment was trying to go green, legallise these bikes now cameron
@spliffthedog Our UK gallon is 4.546 litres US Gallon is only 3.7854 litres. At the time of writing a dollar is 62.7 pence. Standard UK fuel price is £1.18 a litre (give or take a few pence). That's $1.88 per litre which is $8.56 per UK gallon or $7.13 per US gallon which is cheaper, but still ain't cheap compared to America though.
thats a sweet bike man, i race gopeds and blazez scooters. but heres the problem if i took that on any of the hills around my house that 25cc weed whacker motor would explode within minuits. that motor will put out 1.5 hp at the MOST. heres what you should do, the largest engine you can have before its legally considered a motor vehicle is 50cc. so what you should do is plant a goped cy46cc motor off the trail ripper goped or add a tanaka 47ccR engine the will put out about 4-5 hp mod them 10hp
This particular kit is by Golden Eagle Motors, 25cc, 4-stroke motor. It has a geared belt rather than chain-driven, supposed to put more power to the wheel so you don't need a bigger engine. Could prob run it all day at 20, top speed maybe 26mph. Definitely get 150mpg, maybe 200 if you drive like paw-paw
any engine can run on propane but these engines are 2 stroke meaning you have to mix gas and oil if you run it on propane the engine will not be getting lubricate which= very very bad : )
hahah i cant believe you just said that....run it on propane are you kidding me...then you would just have to buy propane which is more expensive than gas and propane doesnt work in engines
Have you actually calculated your miles per gallon? I have the Golden Eagle 32cc Tanaka. I weigh about 150 pounds and the bicycle weighs about 35 pounds. I calculated my mileage at 132 mpg. It hasn't gotten any better and I have the highway gear. My top speed is usually 27 mph not the 33 mph that their web site estimates. The original spokes were too weak and a couple of them broke. I had the wheel rebuilt with quality stainless steel spokes. It's cheaper to buy the GEBE heavy duty wheel.
Are you pedaling? Is your bike really heavy or have old bearings that cause excess resistance? Also, do you hold the throttle down, or throttle back when crusing? Many factors, although 130mpg isn't something to sneeze at. Happy Riding.
You live in a perfect place for motored bikes. I have one, and where I live, people don't care if they hit me. Punk kids want to jump me and steal my bike.
I think it would fall under the bicycle laws in your state. In a lot of states, if the engine is under 50cc, it doesn't need any kind of registration.
@moopig101 Click the link up in the info section for this video, then go to the order page. About halfway down that page it states,"All prices are in continental USD currency, shipping for international customers will vary", so apparently they do ship there.
@moopig101 i would recomend spooky tooth cycles, there a motorized bicycle maker in arizone, usa and they make quality products, look them up and if u say the warriorpoet2010 sent youll get a discount, check them out!
WOW thats Badass!!! I ride a 250 honda just to save gas and it gets about 55 to 65 MPG depending on how and where i drive it. But 250MPG thats awsome! what a cool idea.
I wonder if they sell that same type of little bike anywhere special in Arizona.( how fast can it go?)
You should stock up on soda. :-) Cool video.

Twice as efficient as a moped or vespa. Good job :)
I want to convert my pedal cycle to a 4 stroke and use all the gears on the bike as gears. I don't know where to start though..
