I agree. I really feel like all the candidates are avoiding the important points. Not only are the politicians patronizing us, but the media (when they aren't covering Lohan's rehab) seem to be making a big deal about how hard they try to ask the 'tough' questions. It usually just comes off as them asking the same questions on every network, all the time, and insisting that they are covering all the important topics without glazing over anything their spin doctors may not want to address.

Hillary's cool, but I have to say, voting for someone who is actually totally honest about what he believes leads me to Ron Paul - I know you might not agree w/ him 100% but he is clear and truthful with what he believes...my main issue is the policies that led us into war w/ Iraq...nobody can touch Ron Paul on that issue...if you don't know about his stance...just look it up "ron paul" and "iraq" search if your curious.

do you honestly believe that every conservative hates minorities? don't listen to everything you hear on TV. my dad is VERY conservative and he was really hoping that Condoleezza Rice would run. gasp - not only a woman, but a black woman! in fact, if Condi ran, i would probably vote for her as well. plus i'm a cheerleader, so i know a few gay guys (the majority of them aren't gay though!) and one of my best guy friends is gay and my dad absolutely loves him.

Of course I don't believe every conservative hates minorities. That'd be ridiculous. However, I'm pretty sure there are a lot of arch conservatives in the "moral majority" who would have a problem with one running the country, not to mention some one who's been divorced multiple times. And I don't think the Christian Coalition would take to a Mormon.
