Some people have complained about Islands' "new" sound, but I have to say that I my favorite musicians are the ones brave enough to experiment with different styles/sounds. Many musicians are content with being derivative and unadventurous, but Nick T. has never been such. I respect him and his music.

Plus, I like the feel of this new record....and just it came just in time for V-day.

Is this the band that Luc from Pepper Rabbit is supposed to be touring with in the spring...Because if it is than this I'm gonna be doubly sad that Pepper Rabbit is no longer playing , because these guys have no where the musical talking that Xander and Luc did together.

Yes, this does sound like Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, but it takes on its own sound after the intro AND I love it anyway.
