I agree completely mate, you don't have to be metal to be a great guitarist. The difference between those guitarists and say... Syn, is that they use blues scales mostly, while he uses scales I've barely heard of, which is one of the reasons I like him I guess. But Hendrix, Vai and Slash are incredible as well. Just different styles of music. And I hope the new album's like WTF too, cos that was truly an epic piece of art.
