Larry's footwork is amazing, he dances more with his foots and legs like a robot and sometimes in slow motion! Laurent dances more with his poor and he is limber. :-)
I danced against them during a little contest it was 2 years ago ( yes im french , who can speak english , ;miracles sometimes happens ). How could i describe what i saw and how i felt after... I didnt know them before it was chocked to seen them. They start first and i said to my partner that we wont win today ... We did our best ! Of course we lost but it was a real good experience ! I need to make a battle again against them !

Im a twins fan to the bone, but dreamer does have some points about the twins. They do have an edge being twins dancers, more noticeable. And they do a ton of the same moves, there are fans out there wanting to see new things from them. Now if you're looking here you're at the wrong video, look up their workshops from vegas and december. You can see the progression especially from larry.

Are you kidding me why is the biggest dance convention Monsters of Hip hop. Lol, hip hop yes originally is a free form. Yet, the greatest hip hop dancers take dance class to learn from legends. Great example Popin Pete is in the class every week and teaching. So the fact you said that you know nothing about dance especially hip hop. Even back in the days of hip hops youth those dancers where in the mirror perfecting their craft and learning from other dancers in a room.
An what I meant by not comparing is because Ive been dancing for 19 years and I have been in ballet dance companies, and hip hop and ball room. So the fact that my mind is open to any type of movement simply separates us. Their vocab, is limited mine is limitless. Again they are amazing but if you don't take class sorry your not somone Im going to look up to.
@DreamerTopia Firstly, I feel that with hip hop dancing, u don't need 2 take a class 2 learn.. it should come naturally. Hip hop dancing should be express openly n dance how u feel N not the 1 2 step, like some other dancing styles ( ballroom dancing, salsa etc..) so when U said " if U don't take class or whatever" I have to disagree with u on that. I have watch other people who haven't taken a dance class and still dance better than the people who did take a class

Seriously Ive seen their battles and its piss poor. Compared to others I have seen. They are not in the top tier like I said they happen to be twins they are the right height etc... They don't even compare to the Lombard twins.
Ill be Honest Les Twins are good but over rated. They just happen to be twins who dance. I personally do not think they have the full formula yet. They are very spastic which is ok but not when I see the same spastic move every video. They haven't grown, in the last 3 years.
@DreamerTopia are you insane in your mind ?? when you watch the videos from JD 2009, they clearly have worked like beasts the last 3 years to reach their actual level. They were correct dancers by then, they are awesome now. Watch some of their trainings ("les twins in russia" for exemple) and you'll see that they keep only the best moves for official videos or battles
@bagissimo so that they can keep their universe clearly delimited. And beyond all this technical stuff they try to tell stories, which makes dance an art and not only a sport. that's just my humble opinion and sorry bout my bad english im french^^

This IS dope. But sadly, there are some edited parts. Watch the smoke coming out of the factory, it slows and speeds at some parts. Still mad talented. I'm a little sad they did that tho.
@Mowglieboy69 Watch the right-most smoke from 0:44 to 0:51 then again at 1:07. It slows and speeds up right where it looks like he does. BUT they're still one of the best (if not best) groups out there. They just used that for effects. But know that it's impossible to do a COUPLE of these moves like that.

@KaCeBeatz haha they dont use any effects. they're world renown dancers and as such, they're way passed the "let's impress the crowd phase", Frankly, they are just the best dancers in the world. Their reputation is that of dancers that do the impossible. The smoke doesnt change speeds and the light "blinkage" is constant. your seeing what you want to see, because everyone else knows that these two are just the best to ever do it. period.

Guys !!! I JUST MET "Les twins" on their way to a nightclub called "Ritual" on Besserer Street, in Ottawa (Canada). Shiiiiit, they're so cool ! I couldn't get in the club, but I bet they're rocking like mad right now !!! I talked to them for 15 mins or so... NOW I FEEL LIKE I DIDN'T ASK THEM ANY OF THE STUFF I COULD'VE !! This IS dope. But sadly, there are some edited parts. Watch the smoke coming out of the factory, it slows and speeds at some parts. Still mad talented. I'm a little sad they did that tho.

@Mowglieboy69 Watch the right-most smoke from 0:44 to 0:51 then again at 1:07. It slows and speeds up right where it looks like he does. BUT they're still one of the best (if not best) groups out there. They just used that for effects. But know that it's impossible to do a COUPLE of these moves like that.

@KaCeBeatz haha they dont use any effects. they're world renown dancers and as such, they're way passed the "let's impress the crowd phase", Frankly, they are just the best dancers in the world. Their reputation is that of dancers that do the impossible. The smoke doesnt change speeds and the light "blinkage" is constant. your seeing what you want to see, because everyone else knows that these two are just the best to ever do it. period.

Guys !!! I JUST MET "Les twins" on their way to a nightclub called "Ritual" on Besserer Street, in Ottawa (Canada). Shiiiiit, they're so cool ! I couldn't get in the club, but I bet they're rocking like mad right now !!! I talked to them for 15 mins or so... NOW I FEEL LIKE I DIDN'T ASK THEM ANY OF THE STUFF I COULD'VE !! Like : "Are you even human ?" :-D . (A tous les résidents d'Ottawa qui me lisent : "Les Twins" SONT A OTTAWA !!!).
