no. those boats are towed out of the harbor.. they dont want the extra weight and more difficulties on their journey

I got the same response when I told my doctor I was a sailor. I told her she should try it some time and she said she'd be too scared...

How do you become a proffesional sailor? How do you get into a job like that? Any addvice anyone?

you basically have to know someone (like a skipper or an owner) to get onto a mega yacht or am cup, but you need to just work your way up, start in dinghy's and keep moving up or if u hv a friend that works as a crew member on a boat can recommend u if u have the proper qualis

get your name out, get noticed, whether it be by winning in dinghy's or being recognized as good level headed crew.

just a warning... its not a glamorous life... long days on the water followed by repairs and then a huge party followed up by another day on the water.
